So, in honor of this rapidly growing segment and Women's History Month, JR Cares is proud to support The Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI), a charitable organization with regional groups that have shown an unwavering dedication to under-served communities and initiatives through the advancement of women in leadership, with a focus on making impactful change through volunteering, collaboration, and education. ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION OF JUNIOR LEAGUES INTERNATIONAL

Pioneers with over 124 years of profound service, the charitable nonprofit organization known as The Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc., is comprised of more than 115,000 women in over 298 communities in different parts of the world, working in unison to combat social and economic barriers that negatively impact the quality of women’s lives. Through the empowerment of women, they are catalysts for change and formidable forces using volunteer action, collaboration, and training to enact meaningful reformation and lasting strides, greatly improving the welfare of communities. A few of their initiatives include advancing women and empowering girls for community change, eliminating inequity, bias, and stereotypes, and supporting family and caregivers. By prioritizing impactful initiatives like these, and many more, addressed are the disproportionate disadvantages, closing the gap so communities can flourish.
