Double Corona 2020
I'll start by saying, I'm typically a corojo to Maduro smoker.
I like my cigars to have an abundance of flavor, qnd well, Connecticut wrappers don't really do it for me.
On my good friend David's insistence that I smoke this cigar, I did in fact approach this thing.
The name is perfect for this amazing blend.
It is like smoking dessert.
The sweet but not sweetened flavors oF caramel and cream are immediate and persist through the stick. The draw was flawless.the burn was perfect until the last third, and then the construction went all kinds of haywire, yet it still burned, and still tasted amazing.
In that last half of the cigar, the strength of the tobacco showed up, and it was much stronger than the first half. I smoked it to the nub.
I would definitely recommend this cigar, and I'll be watching for them to come available so I can snag some from JR!

Loved this cigar, was given a 5 pack from a client who happened to see my desk top humidor at my office.
from the moment I toasted and held this cigar, I could tell this was a premium stogie. exceptional draw, and hints of cream, toasty almonds and some notes of pepper. great cigar, and will definitely be ordering a box to ensure I always have this stick on hand.

I went out of my way to find and smoke one of these Saka blended Connie's. I smoked it and frankly was unimpressed. The smoke wasn't particularly voluminous, the flavors not really distinct and there seemed to be a lack of depth.
But it certainly wasn't a bad cigar and when I git the chance for a box I took it. The concept of 7 or 13 cigars in a box makes trying new blends ever so much more acceptable. Anyway, I put them down for a bit...not long, and dug one out a few days ago. The experience was eternal, transcendent, mystifying. Hell, I actually had dreams of smoking this cigar.
Now I have the box out thinking "gee, 12 isn't enough, I can't have another or it will be 11" and there the box is, beconing me, taunting me, whispering.
That is the experience, an hour and a half of seductive whisper.

The Sobremesa Brulee is the crème brûlée of cigars! It is super creamy and rich in flavor, just like the dessert. Great smoke output. It is well balanced with flavors of almond, light leather and oak, and a touch of white pepper. I’m a new big fan of Steve Saka and Dunbarton! I will continue to buy by the box.
