ToroI’ve smoke 5 of these since they arrived and everyone has been consistently good. Nice blend and priced fairly well.451

ToroI haven’t had a Saint Luis Rey in many years and this is making me wonder why. I am really enjoying this smoke. Smooth and well made. Aesthetically pleasing also. Adding to my rotation.451

ToroFirst third was very peppery. Definite spiciness. A little more spice than I normally prefer. The 2nd third, the cigar began to settle down to a creamier taste. The last third seemed the cigar had moved to a slight coffee flavor with some creamy tones. The wrapper looked great. It burned evenly. Required a relight around midway, but the flavor didn’t die. The relight was probably my fault. A good stick. I will buy this again.451

ToroPurchased these in June 2023. When I smoked them last summer I felt they were a bit harsh, and wouldn't stay lit. After a year in my humidor they greatly improved in burn and smooth flavor.451

Introducing the Saint Luis Rey Carenas Toro cigars, a highly anticipated line extension to one of our oldest and most popular Honduran brands. To create these luxurious smokes, the company once again turned to the famed Grupo de Maestros from Altadis U.S.A, who produced these magnificent vitolas in the prestigious La Flor De Copan factory in Honduras. The line gets its name from Puerto de Carenas, the previous name for the Port of Havana, while Saint Luis Rey itself, is named after t...he town of San Luis in the Vuelta Abajo tobacco region in Cuba, where these cigars were originally rolled. The blend features fully aged Honduran tobaccos for the binder and fillers, followed by a rich, flawless Cuban-seed Nicaraguan wrapper. The finished product is a medium bodied smoke that delivers smooth and creamy flavors of earth, peppery spices, coffee, and some hints of salted caramel. Order a modestly priced box of 20, and let us fill your humidor with these magnificent Cuban-style cigars.
