Robusto Lovely cigar. Taste good but the construction wasn’t as great. 1 basically exploded on me. The Pasion was better. Way better 4 5 1
Robusto I was anticipating smoking this cigar and trying to figure out how I was going to achieve this...JR Cigar to the rescue with a great 25 count sampler, including this Devocion ...The sampler gave me 5 different blends ! The cigar itself, looked great, a dryish wrapper...The cigar burned straight and true...The flavor was spot on for me...The wrapper pushes this into the full range...All over, another hit from Groupo ... 4 5 1
Robusto Honestly, I probably should try to smoke one or two more before reviewing... but if I get a better stick next time I'll write another review. This cigar showed so much promise but it totally bombed. Lit unevenly, wrapper cracked within a minute, and then unforunately it would not stay lit. The draw was also way too loose... Tons of tunneling. Then, out of desperation I decided to cut the damn thing in half to start fresh.... same thing. After 20 minute I just gave up. I'm not sure if it was the cigar or the quality from JR so I'm a bit hesitant to rate this so low. Like I said, I'm going to smoke a couple more and hope for the best. It showed a lot of promise and it's not exactly cheap. I have a request to JR to replace or credit since the cigar was a total bust. Hoping that will ease the pain. Really put a bummer on my afternoon. 1 5 1
Robusto Unfortunately the first one I smoked was an absolute disaster in every way. But the second one was basically perfect. So not sure what that says about consistency but lets assume the first one was a fluke: The size, flavor, and aroma is just perfect. Draw was good and construction was good. Even burn for the most part with a few touch ups. There is also a nice surprise when it comes time to take the band off. I won't spoil it but it was a nice touch. 4 5 1
Robusto I really like this cigar, however, multiple burn issues make it a no go. I bought two boxes, one robusto and one toro…every cigar tunnels even after months in the humidor. The humidor has several hundred smokes in there that do not have issues. A real shame. 2 5 1
Robusto I absolutely love these cigars. I got mine with the Romeo and Montecristo Variety Pack, and had no issues with burn or wrapper. These were the best of the bunch as far as even burn, and my personal favorite so far of all the cigars I've smoked. The flavor is so good. Wish I could afford the box, but I would gladly buy another Variety Pack just for five more of these. 5 5 1
Robusto Got these in a Romeo y Monte sampler. One split after about five minutes, the others were flawless. Good smokes, would probably buy a fiver to try again. 4 5 1
