Toro One of the best Romeo's every.. especially with AF getting his hands into it. Deep rich flavor excellent draw burn and finish.. 5 5 1
Toro I've always enjoyed Romeo Juliet Cigars I'm a fairly nice cigar smoking on living room display for 6 months but I found them all very V flavorful in a good buy for the money 4 5 1
Toro Another cigar well done by AJ Fernandez mild to full great taste burned perfectly down to the end would but a box 4 5 1
Toro Excellent cigar in every way 5 5 1
Toro Its Great smoke better Than a Cuban cohiba cigars Amazing cigar perfect blends wow also better Than other cigars 4 5 1
Toro This is an interesting new smoke from AJ's. I find much dislike for all the labels and cedar sleeves on cigars as they tend to lead to the destruction of a wrapper when trying to remove the labels and cedar sleeves and sometimes lead to premature molding because they produce too much of a seal for moisture. Luckily the wrapper used on this cigar the Habana 2000 is strong enough to handle label removal. It's a beautiful rendering of the Habana 2000 which at times gets a bad review. Slightly oily and near seamless. Not too spicy on the tongue and very receptive to saliva absorption making it a great chewing cigar for those who prefer to chew cigars and not smoking them. Very consistent in construction from cigar to cigar. Flavor is very reminiscent to the PDR 1878 Cubano Especial Capa Madura which is interesting enough because they have nothing in common with regards to tobaccos used. Starts mild but does build up in strength and I have yet to be able to smoke a whole cigar. I would say an after dinner smoke with a cognac. I suggest opening the box and removing the cigars from the cellophane and taking off the sleeves and put them back to breath and age in their beautiful cedar boxes. It's a great new creation and worthy of the name Romeo y Julieta. 5 5 1
Toro I all but gave up on RYJ's years ago; found them a bit too mild. Same thing with Montecristo's. But when I saw AJ Fernandez' name I gave them a go. All I can say is....Wow. Both the RYJ and Monte's by AJ are absolutely right on the mark. Very tasty. Will be buying more of these for sure 5 5 1
Toro great cigar really special will be stocked in my humidor. 5 5 1
Toro Still new to the cigar game but this is by far the best I’ve tried. Very solid binder but burns evenly. The draw is a bit difficult but smooth. Stays cool to the tongue without that burning feel. Very consistent from start to finish. Highly recommended. 4 5 1
Toro I have bought 4 boxes of this great cigar. One of my favorites for sure 5 5 1
Toro Perhaps the most flavorful R y J ever and one of AJ's best offerings. These are so delicious that I am now giving them as gifts. Smooth, creamy, spicy, and so well-balanced, this is just about full bodied, but medium strength. Love cigars that are complex, flavorful, but not too heavy and this JR exclusive fills the bill perfectly. Try a 5 pack and it will soon become a box purchase. 5 5 1
Toro Aj ferendas Need To Lower The prices 5 5 1
Toro I go this simply because I have like alonost every cigar crafted by AJ Fernandez. I was not disappointed. 5 5 1
Toro Nice draw , great everyday cigar 5 5 1
Toro The title says it all. Not a Bad cigar but like smoking newspaper in that the taste is flat and wooden. There’s no art involved in this cigar. 3 5 1
Toro I think they are some of the best I have ever smoked. I enjoy them in the evening after a good meal. They are always consistent in quality. R.V.S 5 5 1
Toro I have always liked R&J cigars. They offer a nice variety of mild, mellow and more intense tobaccos rolled with perfection. Then I tried the RYJ crafted by AJ Fernandez. I am not sure what 'Crafted' means . But whatever AJ did was wonderful. Strong but not overwhelming, perfectly rolled and a great after dinner smoke. I would like to know the definition of 'crafted' since AJ is apparently doing more brands than just RyJ. Does he choose the tobaccos on hand at the Romeo factory for his craft? Is it the roll that is different? If someone could explain that I would appreciate it. 5 5 1
Toro Only problem I have is the runner, I call long finger nail. 4 5 1
Toro great flavor easy to light and burns even 5 5 1
Toro Love this flavorful smooth smoking cigar. 5 5 1
Toro Very happy, good overall cigar, lots of flavor, relatively consistent. Would definitely purchase again. 4 5 1
Toro Amazing smoke.Smooth and cool till the end.so smooth.even the wrapper.like silk. 5 5 1
Toro Smooth, full of flavor, good to your last draw, folks give this try 5 5 1
Toro WOW" what can I say that you don't already know about this great cigar" this Toro, crafted by AJ master of masters cigar maker's" what a master cigar blender" the incredible taste, all those great Romero's coming out on each drought" surly a well crafted of premium tobacco that was used in making this cigar" my hat off to the roller who made me this great smoke"!! 5 5 1
Toro Not what I would have hoped for. Fair draw and flavor profile. Not on my buy list 2 5 1
Toro Outstanding construction. Even burn. Great ash. Tasty. Not a single touch-up needed. It’s my new weekend favorite. I was a Rocky Patel Edge Maduro guy but I got tired of the uneven burn and frequent re-lights. I decided to give this a try and I’m glad I did! 5 5 1
Toro This brand is rapidly becoming a go-to for me. A really nice medium bodied smooth smoke with a great earthy taste and some spiciness. Draw is firm but the burn is even. A well made very enjoyable cigar. 4 5 1
Toro Wow this is really special. Say goodbye to my previous bias against Nicuraguan cigars. 4 5 1
Toro Beautiful construction. Ashes awesome and presentation is superb. Great razor burn. Notes of leather. Thanks JR 4 5 1
Toro I would buy again. It was an amazing purchase I enjoy this smoke with friends. I mean is AJ Fernandez 5 5 1
Toro Great cigar for a casual evening smoke with a friend and an adult beverage....long, slow, always good smoke...highly recommend. 5 5 1
Toro Flavor is nice with a medium spice, good construction with a tight roll and even burn. 5 5 1
Toro AJF and RYJ hit a home run on these tasty sticks. Long razor edge burn.Leather and cedar and dark chocolate with creamy espresso and dark fruit notes. Finnished medium full.Smoked to the nub... 5 5 1
Toro These cigars are defective from factory,I suggest you immediately send every boxed bought shipped directly to me for further inspection.Hey just looking out for my Brother’s of the leaf👍🏽 Great cigar AJ hit it outta the park on this one💯 Will definitely buy again💯 5 5 1
Toro This is an excellent cigar. Roll draw and burn all superior. It is full flavor and medium to full body. Tasty espresso nutty and wood. Try them. 5 5 1
Toro Construction, draw, and burn were fine. I didn't care for the taste. Some you like, some you dont. This one I didn't. 3 5 1
Toro Not very good dry and came apart 3 5 1
Toro Very good cigar. Good flavor, burns even 5 5 1
Toro One of my faves. 5 5 1
Toro Perfect cigar with a nice pull earthy, woody flavor and medium to heavy body good to the finish! 5 5 1
Toro This is a great cigar slow burn with a very pleasant draw. It is a consistently beautiful cigar with an elegant construction. Delicious medium to bold cigar that pairs well with a good bourbon. 5 5 1
Toro a good smoke for the price 5 5 1
Toro Great flavor well constructed smoke very well I think AJ Fernandes make a great blend 5 5 1
Toro You cant beat AJ Fernandez....this is a GREAT smoke from start to finish, one of my Favs!!!! 5 5 1
Toro Wonderful smoke! Great easy draw, TONS of flavor! Lots of red pepper up front followed by cedar, cocoa and tobacco. Great aroma. This cigar will not disappoint. 5 5 1
Toro I love this cigar. I used to smoke Romeo y Julieta 1875 Reserve Real but AJ Fernandez came out with fantastic version of Romeo. It's by far my favorite cigar. 5 5 1
Toro These were a great addition to the humidor. I like how they are a relaxed smoke, very enjoyable. Would highly recommend. 5 5 1
Toro This is a very well constructed cigar. Good flavors, good body, good ash. I would recommend. I got 10 for a work cookout and happy to still have 4 leftover. 4 5 1
Toro Got a couple of boxes when they were on the daily Dutch auction. A great cigars. The construction is flawless and the flavor was great. I would buy again 5 5 1
Toro Love That cigar Its one of a KIND CIGAR BUY IT TRY IT ITS AN AJ 5 5 1
Toro This cigar is always good. Heavy dark chocolate flavor. I love the Robosto and the Toro, but the Toro is even better. Fabulous cigar 5 5 1
Toro Well constructed. Hard to keep lit. 3 5 1
Toro Very smooth with a nice construction. A bolder cigar. Wouldn't recommend for your first smoke. 4 5 1
Toro Looking for the right cigar Aroma,Burn the correct blend 4 5 1
Toro A real nice cigar. Nice draw and burn. Nice array of flavor. A medium to full bodied smoke. I would buy these cigars again. 5 5 1
Toro This is my go to AJ cigar. Quality cigar in all aspects. I will always stock up when JR is running a special. Definitely recommend! 5 5 1
Toro It’s okay. Nothing to get excited about. 3 5 1
Toro good cigar 5 5 1
Toro Nice chocolate flavor with a little spice. Always had solid burn and draw from the toro. 5 5 1
Toro Been smoking cigars for 40 years. This one is top 3 to include cubans. Rock solid construction, prettiest wrapper i have ever seen. If you like medium to full bodied nicaraguan cigars give them a shot. Life is too short to smoke cheap cigars. 5 5 1
Toro Avery good cigar! Never a tight draw in this medium to full bodied cigar. Good for after dinner and/or a good scotch whisky. 5 5 1
Toro Construction good draw, and consistent construction good true full body cigar.slow even burn. 5 5 1
Toro Hands down one of the best and most consistent smokes on the market. A definite go to stick! 5 5 1
Toro Great smoke when on the patio grilling 5 5 1
Toro What else is there to say, another great creation from A.J. Fernandez. 5 stars all the way around, strength, aroma and flavors. Only the Dias de Gloria also by AJ Fernandez have the same qualities. 5 5 1
Toro A typical Nicaraguan, and not at all appropriate to the R&J portfolio. Why R&J included this in their lineup is a mystery. I guess to jump on the AJ bandwagon. I frankly find AJ F's Nicaraguans to be decidedly mediocre. Just another barnyard Nicaraguan in my book. Very good construction and draw, if you can overlook the taste. 3 5 1
Toro Excellent cigar. Good draw and construction. Medium body and very good flavor. Beautiful wrapper! 5 5 1
Toro I loved this cigar. Everything from flavor to shape and ultimatel the burn was exquisite. 5 5 1
Toro Another AJ Fernandez blend that impresses as usual. Smoke this one at 62-65% and enjoy. 4 5 1
Toro This one knocks out of the park. Near perfect on all counts, especially price. Delux! 4 5 1
Toro Truly appreciated the taste and even burn of this stick. I will be purchasing again when my wall comes in. Taste great with a sip of Blanton's…very good stick. 5 5 1
Toro the best 5 5 1
Toro Liked this cigar. Good taste, even burn, smooth flavor and smoke. The only minus would be the draw. It’s a little on the tight side for me. 4 5 1
Toro An excellent cigar that drew me back to Romeo & Julieta! Good medium to full bodied flavor after an evening meal. Good construction and draw. A very pretty cigar. 5 5 1
Toro This is one of my favorite sticks by AJ Fernandez. Consistency thoughout the smoke. I tried everyone of his blends and this is one that I always have in my humidor. 5 5 1
Toro GOOD CIGAR 4 5 1
Toro This was a great purchase. Great smoke and flavor. Even and smooth 4 5 1
Toro This cigar has great flavor, Burns great, Great draw 5 5 1
Toro Great cigar. You can't go wrong when you mix A.J. Fernandez with a cigar. 5 5 1
Toro GREAT CIGAR 5 5 1
Toro Smooth nice smoke 5 5 1
Toro Really enjoyable smoke nice draw, the burn never went out and great flavor would definitely recommend this cigar. 5 5 1
Toro 1 4 5 1
Toro Nice cigar taste wise. My only dislike was the uneven burn in 2-3 of the five pack. 4 5 1
Toro Very nice consistent cigar. Nice draw and cool smoke 5 5 1
Toro Nice draw good taste great cigar 5 5 1
Toro Great smoke from AJ. Consistent guality construction and flavor. 5 5 1
Toro Here’s another AJ Fernandez blend that hits it out of the park. I’m not always able to pick out flavor profiles, but you can definitely tell you’re smoking quality tobacco with excellent taste. I just can’t identify what that taste is. Will definitely buy more. 4 5 1
Toro I like a lot of AJF stuff, however, after seeing “crafted by” rather than “made by,” I was a little hesitant. Bottom line is that I shouldn’t have been concerned. Great smoke, great construction, and while not super complex, it’s just so good it didn’t matter. It smokes med-full to me and offers billows of creamy smoke. If you’re a fan of Romeo or AJ and like Nicaraguan smokes, this is a winner. 5 5 1
Toro Current favorite smoke of the Romeos. Great flavor burn and construction. Long lasting great smoke. Not super complex as others have said, but a tasty treat nonetheless. Ymmv 5 5 1
Toro A consistent smoke for everyday! Never disappointing! 5 5 1
Toro It’s good. But it’s a typical aj cigar. They’re tasting the same no matter which company he blends for 3 5 1
Toro Overall a great smoke. Draws very well, great flavor blend and good aroma. And so greatly wrapped. Definitely would buy again. 4 5 1
Toro Decent smoke probably would only keep two sticks to change up the game. Description is pretty accurate but JR has better cigars for the same price. 3 5 1
Toro picked up a box on the Christmas sale - good buy for a good smoke. first one was with a Saint Arnold Christmas Ale and it was very good combo, full bodied beer and a nice easy smoke. second was on the golf course and surprised it held it's own in the wind and being dropped a few times. 3rd was later that day with a TEXAS whiskey and that paired well - so it's a smoke you can do just about anything with and enjoy 4 5 1
Toro Has the AJ flavor profile, which I really like: a well balanced blend of flavors. Smooth, med strength, so far all have burned great right to the nub. I bought a box and liked them enough that I just bought another box to keep on hand for when I want a really nice, long smoke - like a warm summer afternoon. 4 5 1
Toro Good burn, with a medium amount of smoke. Full bodied, but not harsh. I’d buy again. 4 5 1
Toro This is a good smoke with an even burn and smooth draw. I definitely recommend this one. 5 5 1
Toro Construction, burn, draw are all top notch. Nicely packed filler help this cigar burn nice and slow. Thick smoke. I did find these would need a relight from time to time. You won’t like that aspect of the cigar if that bothers you. The flavor is not quite up to the quality of the construction. As some have mentioned, not complex. Certainly not AJ’s best. But if you like a fairly strong cigar with the AJ flavor profile, you’ll like these. Not a knockout, but a good cigar. 4 5 1
Toro Excellent cigar. 5 5 1
Toro Good cigar 5 5 1
Toro DRY 4 5 1
Toro Have smoked a bunch, and they are consistently good. Excellent draw with lots of thick creamy smoke. Excellent construction, with very appealing look and feel. Slow, cool burn. Very nice, but not great flavor. Not complex, but rewarding. A nice tanginess. No muddies. But beware if you don’t like a strong cigar. They really do pack a wallop. Nice if you like that. 4 5 1
Toro Always a good consistent smoke 5 5 1
Toro Best deal in the market for a tasty good cigar. 5 5 1
Toro My favorite stick! 5 5 1
Toro The first two thirds had a good flavor. The last third was bitter. The cigar coned heavily. The burn was inconsistent. I had difficulty with the draw. I had to use the cigar drill. 3 5 1
Toro Great deal on a great smoke. 4 5 1
Toro Got these in a sampler, ended up buying a box. Enough said. 5 5 1
Toro great smoke 5 5 1
Toro Reasonably priced for a tasteful cigar. Would be again 4 5 1
Toro box came in today... i was excited because i regularly smoke 2 or three cigars a day... i never tried these before and was interested in something new and different... smoked two of them after they came... at first i was suprised at how peppery it was right off the light... it mellowed out after the first third then finished strong again to the nub... its an enjoyable smoke with a really easy draw and fairly consistent burn, as expected from any cigar with AJ's name on it... certainly a more medium to full flavor on the profile... overall i think i will enjoy smoking the rest of them, switching them up with the other 15 kinds of cigars i keep in the humidor... they are a welcome addition to the collection 5 5 1
Toro consistent burn throughout the box. low maintenance smoke. would give flavor 3 1/2* but site does not allow. easy draw. 4 5 1
Toro I've switched to these about 3 years ago. Always consistent draw, flavor profile I love...especially with a good bourbon or single malt scotch. 5 5 1
Toro Very consistent and my go to cigar 5 5 1
Toro These have become one of my favorites, love the great taste they provide, and of course the great construction and smoke ability. 5 5 1
Toro This is my new go-to cigar. After 2 boxes, a few 10 packs, individual sticks at JR, and a few 5 packs, I have yet to have a bad experience. The draw, taste, smokiness have all been exactly the same no matter what size I've smoked. The flavor profile is rich, and has great spice without knocking you on your butt. They're a great price considering the only cigar I think is superior to this one is the Padron 1964 Anniversary series - hand-made natural. 5 5 1
Toro This is my "reasonably priced go to" in my humidor. I always have this or the Toro. I take advantage of the BOGO and other various discounts they have on R&J's and keep sticked. Consistently...consistent. Really good cigar. 4 5 1
Toro Great cigar !! 5 5 1
Toro Very consistent smoke, nice draw and even burn. 5 5 1
Toro When on sale an exceptional value. Always great! 5 5 1
Toro Best cigar for the $s 5 5 1
Toro I just like anything my AJ Fernandez. This one is one of my favorites 5 5 1
Toro Never disappointed with these sticks, my go to smoke 5 5 1
Toro great cigar nice and smooth 5 5 1
Toro Great smoke 5 5 1
Toro AJ Fernandez created an excellent blend here with this one. Very good cigar with plenty consistent flavor throughout. 5 5 1
Toro Excellent in all 5 5 1
Toro It’s a very enjoyable smoke . My go cigar although I do like Davidoff.. shipping was Immediate and I received in a day or two. 5 5 1
Toro This uro from AJF is a little sub standard for Romeo y Julieta. All of the mechanics such as draw, construction, and.consistentlcy are there but I am not big fan of the flavor during the first 3rd of the cigar.AJF usually produces a much more refined smoke but this one left a little to be desired. The cedar wrap was a nice touch but the presentation was deceptive. The middle of the smoke improved ti a creamy mild taste which was plesant . The last 3rd was enjoyable with continued notes of cream and mild spice. This was part of a sampler and most were great. I would recommend ir to others but wouldn't choose to order it standing alone. 4 5 1
Toro I usually by the Bellicoso and I've always enjoyed them. I received this cigar in a sampler and I think I like it even better than the bellicoso 5 5 1
Toro I got them with my order they are darker than my regular Connecticut but i tried them they are very flavorful I enjoyed them I will order them 5 5 1
Toro I don't know if I have ever had a cigar crafted by AJ Fernandez that I didn't like. Just a great smoke. I found it to be medium strength and really enjoyed it. 5 5 1
Toro Great cigar at a great price. 5 5 1
Toro Very nice smoke. Great flavor. 5 5 1
Toro very consistent smoke from box to box. 5 5 1
Toro A great smoke can’t say anything bad about the cigar.I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good smoke. 5 5 1
Toro AJ has done it again. I've tried these in three vitolas -- toro, robusto, and Churchill -- and all have been incredibly consistent. From the construction and draw to the flavor and aroma, this is easily my current favorite smoke to keep stocked in my humidor at this price point. 5 5 1
Toro These are excellant cigars. I try to stock up when ever they are on sale. i like most everything AJ produces, but these are my favorite. 5 5 1
Toro Quality smoke out of the box. I'm sure will improve even more with time in the humidor. Good construction. Thanks JR for the great deal on these! 5 5 1
Toro Smooth draw, great on the palate. Slow, even burn. 5 5 1
Toro Love this cigar. It is my go to with coffee. Medium to full body cigar; notes consist of cream, nuttiness, coffee, pepper or baking spice. Leather, earthiness and dark chocolate comes out in the final third. 5 5 1
Toro These really hit the spot and I can’t believe how affordable too. Excellent burn and the taste can’t be beat! 5 5 1
Toro Y 5 5 1
Toro I common daily that is good for relaxing 5 5 1
Toro Great cigar, flavor seems to trail pff at the end, but well made. I prefer the toro to the bellicoso. Still like to try the Churchill. 4 5 1
Toro This is a special cigar with a great draw and mouth feel. It can be a little inconsistent on the burn but that’s a small issue in my mind. 5 5 1
