The whole Romeo and Juliet online seems to be quite pleasing to me. The Churchhill is no exception. From start to finish the cigar has a smooth flavorful draw. One of my top five cigars personally. And with the long Churchill you have more time to enjoy it!

This is one of my favorite sticks hands down. Very easy draw and remarkably polite and creamy smoke in the first third. Flavors of leather slight cinnamon and a beautiful aged tobacco aftertaste continue into the second third without significant intensification. The final third picks up and flavor tones become more noticeable but the smoke still remains light and creamy to the nub.

When I think of a mild cigar this is the cigar that I think of. Very creamy flavors and GREAT for new cigar smokers or smokers that do not prefer mid-full bodied smokes. I always try to keep 3-4 in my humidor. Also can't beat the price. Even this Churchill size is very cheap especially for the quality and flavor that you get from this cigar. It's fitting to have the Churchill size for Churchill's favorite cigar brand and I especially recommend the size for this particular series because it tends to be a fast burner even when properly stored in the humidor.

Good looking cigar. Nice tight white ash. Slightly uneven burn but will self correct. Maybe I expected to much after hearing all the hoopla but I found this stick to be moderately flavored and Bland. As I was nearing the half way mark the effort to draw became harder until if finally clogged and refused to stay lit. Bottom line I would loosely recommend to a friend and might buy again if I could be a player at 5 bucks.

I like the R & J 1875 quite a bit in all the vitolas. Which one I go for depends on how much time I have. It has a real classic flavor profile that I think comes closest to the original Cubans out of all the Cuban-namesake cigars I've had. They're well made and reasonably priced.

Churchill
Set aside some time for this terrific smoke. The burn is even and the draw is great but you will need about an hour and forty-five minutes for this one. It has rich almost creamy smoke and notes of Cedar pepper leather and cocoa. It finishes with a bit too much leather but it is still well worth the price!

Romeo you Julieta is a fine name when it comes to cigars. The construction is what it would expect from a top name. Flavor is great. It burned nice and even. Every ash it came back in the perfect crown letting me know the construction was very good. The size of a Churchill is great as well because we know it will take a while before we come to the dreaded end of the great taste

I haven't purchased these in a while because there are so many different cigars out there these days. I like to mix it up. Having said that, I'm so glad I did go back to one of my old favorites. They are a great and long consistent smoke. Light em once and your done. So many other churchill's require multiple lights which really takes away from the flavor of the stick. I'm ordering another box as I write this.

I have been smoking these daily for years and have always enjoyed them as one of the most consistent cigars available. No more. In the last year, the quality has gone down dramatically, and I've received entire boxes that were un-smokeable due to extremely poor construction. I don't know what's happened with these, but I have - with great regret - found it necessary to stop ordering them.

Smoked 6 if these. Each one had the same issue. 1/3 way through the smoke, the wrapper began peeling, near the band. This resulted in an inability to draw since the cigar now had a hole in it. After repeatedly relighting, I'd eventually just give up. Not sure what the issue was, but definitely defective. They were stored at 79% from the moment I received them.

My usual daily "go to" smoke is Arturo Fuente Double Chateau Sungrown and my absolute favorite smoke is the LFD Andalusian Bull, I smoke on average 2-4 cigars a day - now you know the basis of my review.
I had smoked quite a few Romeo's in the past but had forgotten about them. When I saw this deal on them, I decided to pull the trigger and I'm glad I did.
Now I typically would not rate this cigar as a 5 star great, but when you consider cost, craftsmanship, finish, overall construction, etc., this gets a 5 star review in my honest opinion.
The Churchill will last about 90 minutes without a re-light and remains pretty consistent from beginning to end. The final 2 inches may get a little harsh, but that's not too bad considering the cost of the cigar.
Medium, Full body - more medium than full. They have achieved this with great flavor. Now, I can't tell you it has notes of buffalo chips from a herd found in a field of clover and blueberries with a hint of daddy's old leather belt he used to beat my butt with. It's simply a medium full body smoke - you write you own description of this stick and I'll continue to smokin' them.
Buy it - it's a great deal!

The package arrived and when opened immediately it was clear the box had not been maintained at proper humidity. The Boded packet inside was solid. Upon unwrapping a cigar for a smoke, it was clear the cigar wrapper was dry and brittle. The taste had a bitter, too try taste and the draw was too hot. It became a chore to smoke them. Note: I have smoked and enjoyed many Romeo & Julietas, and the criticism is with JR Cigars, not the maker.

I'm really disappointed having to give Romeo Julieta a bad review. They had been a long time favorite. I took the plunge and bought a box of 25 about three weeks ago. Since then, I've smoked about half of them and have had 1, now 2, that were not smokable. The wrapper seems like it's make out of plastic. After lighting them it was a struggle just to keep the cigars burning. Draw was okay but the cigar would not stay lit. Along with these 2 there have been 4 others that were a struggle to keep lit. they also had "melting" wrappers but i got through them. So far that means that only 50% of this box of these cigars will be smokable. I'm extremely disapointed.
