Robusto These are very mild smokes. They are good but definitely the mildest Rocky I have ever had. They don't taste bad but they are not very flavorful. So if you like mild and bland (couldn't think of a more neutral term) then this a good one for you. 4 5 1

Robusto I was told by a few of my friends that Rocky Patel was a solid brand they weren't joking. This was a smooth smoke with consistent construction and an even burn. It had a mild peppery taste not too strong it tended to be more on the mellow side. From start to finish it was an enjoyable smoke. I think this will work itself into my regular rotation. 4 5 1

Robusto The vintage 1999 line by Pat r l cigars is a pretty tasty cigar. Sometimes good cigars like this are overshadowed by the huge piles of crap the company over produces. Cut the number of garbage lines rocky. Then people would see all your cigars as good instead of bring worried about wasting money on another garbage can lining cigar 3 5 1

Robusto Great smoke was smooth and very flavorful without being harsh. Picked up dynamic flavors of cedar and coffee even a little touch of sweetness. The end cap was a little messy and the burn was not the most consistent although the flavors did not suffer from it and changed pleasantly throughout a little bit. This is a cigar I'll even enjoy tasting in the back of my throat when I wake up in the morning. 4 5 1

Robusto I got one of these out of a liquor store humidor. It was the last one so figured it must be decent. Long story short I ended up putting it down after a couple puffs. It tasted and smelled like burning hair. I hope I just got ahold of a bad one. 1 5 1

Robusto Personally I am not the biggest fan of the newer cigar taste profile where things are full of pepper and strength. The older I get the more I appreciate milder cigars that I can smoke without palate burnout. This cigar is a bit stronger than the more traditional Connecticut wrapped sticks, but still on the mild side of medium. Smooth, toasty aged tobacco flavors with a hint (not a lot) of sweetness. Just a little bit of pepper. Enough to make it more modern in taste profile, but not over-the-top by any means. Most were well constructed and all had a great open draw. Excellent aroma. I’d say try them if you are a veteran Connecticut cigar enthusiast looking for something a bit fuller, or a fan of pepper bombs looking for an easy approachable relatively mild stick. The flavors here should satisfy everyone. 4 5 1

Robusto Obtain a few RP Vintage 1999 Robusto cidars as part of a sampler pack. You can feel thr cigar is tightly rolled. When it comes to robustos, I usually prefer a punch. After the punch, because of the tight roll, i couldn't get a good draw. In the spirit of the punch, I proceeded anyway with my toast and initial light. To me, it felt like I had to work on getting a decent draw. After a few attempted puffs, I opted to cut the end. After my cut, thr draw was a little easier and I could taste the creaminess and smooth nodes. The first 1/3 was tough to get through, but after that the cigar seemed to open up a bit and the draw became easier. The burn was consistant and ashed fairly well. The last 2/3 were more robust and all in all was a good cigar. Now let me preface by saying I should have started this review by stating that I like a full body rodust cigar a good toro or robusto. Personally I wouldn't purchase this one again, but this cigar was good. 3 5 1
