Drew Estate Key Chain Cutter Historically, my cutter of choice was the straight cut guillotine. The next appliance for opening my cigar was a punch which I then began using exclusively. I received the V cutter with my last order and haven't used anything else since. It seems that some cigars smoke better with different opening appliances, but the V cutter is that happy medium. Drew Estate Key Chain Cutter I'd always used a double-guillotine cutter, but I got one of these as a free extra once, and now wouldn't do without it. It leaves more of the cap and shoulder, which seems to limit the bits of tobacco that get into your mouth vs. a straight cut--at least until the end of the cigar gets soggy. Of course, that's if you keep the cigar in your mouth a lot. 5 5 1
