Alec Bradley Prensado Gran Toro 10ct I bought a 10ct box that JR had on sale after seeing the owner on a Cigars daily video saying how the Prensado was his favorite. I regrettably bought only 1 box while on sale. This stick has the flavor that I always think of when I think of smoking a cigar. It truly has become one of my top 3 sticks! 5 5 1
Alec Bradley Prensado Gran Toro 10ct I do like the square pressed style, and the cigar is beautiful right out of the cellophane sleeve. The wrapper was silky and the cigar had a great aroma before being lit. It took well to a deep v cut, without the cap tearing or anything like that. The smoke off the lit end was rich with a great perfume kind of aroma; a real delight to smell. The smoke on the draw was very flavorful without having a bite. It was a very easy to smoke cigar that offered up a lot of flavor. A nice dark tobacco sweetness was there along with notes of chocolate and coffee. Maybe a hint of leather. It stayed that way pretty much down to the last inch and a half before the flavor started to deteriorate. It was still good enough to smoke to the nub, but that last inch was going downhill. Regardless, a very enjoyable cigar. The inly issue I had with it was the draw. It did spend a month in my humidor at 71% before I smoked it. A also know we praise cigars that deliver a lot of smoke with an easy draw, that still burn slowly, which this cigar absolutely delivered. (I listened to two albums before it was done), but the draw was as effortless as sucking air through a jumbo straw. Even though it delivered on being a long smoke and a rich smoke (far from airy, the smoke was rich), I like to have to at least make a little effort on the draw. Others might find this amazing, but for my liking, it was too easy. Overall, this guy is a welcome addition to my humidor and will be part of my rotation of finer smokes. Paired great with an old vine zinfandel. 5 5 1
