Epicure Procedure for purchase of cigars went smoothly 5 5 1
Epicure I just bought a 4-pack of these locally, and I decided to try one after dinner. As a caveat, I'm not a regular cigar smoker. I only occasionally indulge in a stick or two. These appealed to me because they they are my preferred 6X54, come in a high quality re-sealable moisture pack, and they seem to have generally great reviews. The wrapper is smooth as a baby's butt. It never offered to crack or unwind, so the moisture pack does its job well. Burn was cool and slow, although it didn’t produce much smoke. Burn was a bit uneven about halfway in. Draw was very tight throughout, which made it difficult to light and even more challenging to keep burning. The first inch was awful. No flavor at all, aside from an overwhelming bitterness that tasted like rubbing alcohol. I was tempted to throw the thing away, but I decided to tough it out. During the second inch, the flavor approached leather and tea, but still with a bitter aftertaste. The third inch produced notes of semi-sweet chocolate with a hint of citrus, and the bitterness began to fade. Flavors expanded in the fourth inch, and a slight sweetness began to surface. I snuffed it out at that point 'cause I got a phone call. I did a post-mortem on the stub the next morning, trying to figure out why the draw was so difficult. The body of the cigar was not unusually firm, but the final inch of the cap end was hard as a rock. I sliced it open lengthwise, and found the filler in that last inch was compressed so tightly that it prevented a proper draw. The next evening, I tried a second one, and the experience was completely different. Easy to light, perfect draw, and a natural sweetness through the first three inches. Best of all, there was no hint of rubbing alcohol. It easily held 1 ½ inches of tight white ash, and the burn was perfectly even. The blended flavors were delicious from the initial light, and, except for a slight harshness in the final two inches, I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasinger smoke. Creamy, mild and tasty, and I savored it all for well over an hour. If my third one is just as good, I’ll be buying many more. 4 5 1

Epicure Another winner from Perdomo.Very smooth and very tasty. 5 5 1
Epicure Well what to say- everything is 5 star.. you pay for it and you get it. I will say that it burns so long, that even though this cigar is expensive, that due to its long burn it is actually excellent $/time even if to ignore its other excellent qualities. 5 5 1
Epicure Seemed old or just dry , outer layer was flakey but overall, still a good smoke .. it was smooth and didn't go out quickly. 3 5 1
Epicure Because it was drawing so well and putting out such awesome smoke… I may have overdone it. 5 5 1

Epicure Often smoker here. my favorite cigar for sunny afternoons and a beer by the pool. Good smooth flavor, consistent all the way through. good buzz kicks in halfway through. nice medium day smoker 5 5 1
Epicure i bought a box of these the same day i bought my new humidor and i kept 6 for aging... they finally had there first birthday at the beginning of the month so it was time to try one!! i really liked the ones i had already smoked, i found them super mild flavored straight through to the nub, never got heavy on pepper and spice on the tongue.... after aging now 1 full year at 69° 69% humidity, they are quite different in flavor and burn beautifully... the first third was mild as was expected right into the 2nd third where it definitely started to gain a bit of pepper on the tip of the tongue mixed in with creamy mello leathery notes... getting into the final third of the stick the flavor continues to build but it never intensifies to become overbearing righ down to the three quarter inch nub... it finishes as smooth as it began, full flavored and pleasant!! im excited for next years try at another one 5 5 1
