Padron Londres Maduro is THE best maduro, IMO. I don’t smoke expensive cigars, but I’ve tried dozens of Nicaraguan and Honduran Maduros. Wish Padron produced more of them. Since they haven’t, I was forced to find worthy alernatives. The best alternatives I’ve found are: Herrera Esteli Norteno (San Andres maduro wrapper); CAO Flathead 450 and their londres size (Conn. broadleaf maduro). The list prices are high, but they go on sale or can otherwise be had for a decent price. Of course, the Padron 3000 Maduro is a pricey alternative when I get desperate for the unique flavor of a Padron.
