Torpedo I let the cigars rest. It is just too mild for my taste. It gets top marks in all the other areas and is well-packaged. I am going to set them aside for a month or two and see. 4 5 1
Torpedo The title says most of it. I would add the cigar is very well-made and provides a enjoyable smoke somewhere between medium and robust 5 5 1
Torpedo I have let these cigars rest in a humidity and temperature controlled environment. Flavour is a matter of taste. They are getting richer and easy to smoke. However I am still not getting the cigar richness described by JR above. I'll let them rest some more. 4 5 1
Torpedo The first one I lit was a little difficult to smoke for the firs quarter inch but then it opened up. Nice taste medium string. Well constructed. No canoes nice even burn. Reasonably priced - an excellent everyday smoke. 4 5 1
Torpedo Rich flavor and well constructed. Smooth and even burn 5 5 1
Torpedo This is a good cigar, but there are others better for the price. 4 5 1
Torpedo Really good smoke. I’m a fan of the Cameron wrapper will all its flavor. This cigar smokes well and didn’t het harsh on the last third. 4 5 1
Torpedo Consistent in draw and flavor. 4 5 1
Torpedo Good smoke. Burned even, tastes fine to me. Good construction glad I have plenty. No complaints at all but for a honest opinion it's not amazing, just mediocre. Not a snob but I have better goto cigars. 4 5 1
Torpedo Been ordering these for several years now and very rarely does this cigar disappoint. I enjoy the unique shape as well, and you will too. 5 5 1
Torpedo The Oliva G is a great daily smoke as well as for a special weekend. It’s smoother than Oliva O, and not as expensive other Oliva cigars. I highly recommend you give it a try. You can buy better cigars for a higher price, but nothing rivals this cigar’s bang for the buck! 5 5 1
Torpedo These are fantastic , you really can’t go wrong with an Oliva. 5 5 1
Torpedo Terrific construction, even burn. Periodically a spot or two on the wrapper is dry and flakes but there's no adverse effect on the burn. Dark, complex flavor but not a rich, smooth mouthfeel--the only reason I didn't rate this a 5. 4 5 1
Torpedo This is a wonderful smoke! The flavor from the cameroon wrapper really comes through. Good draw and construction. The Oliva serie G is always in my humidor. 5 5 1
Torpedo Love the box pressed cigar, draw was perfect. Construction was flawless. Didn't have to touch up the cigar once lit. Will buy again. 5 5 1
Torpedo one of my favorite Oliva cigars! get some and enjoy…you won’t be disappointed. 5 5 1
Torpedo Good construction, Good draw, delicious flavors 5 5 1
Torpedo Great cigar with good flavor and a perfect burn. Will definitely reorder these. Good 1 1/2+ cigar. 5 5 1
Torpedo Very enjoyable smoke and a nice addition to my humidor 5 5 1
Torpedo Really nice cigar. Especially for the price. And even better, I was able to snag a box at the Black Friday price for around $86. Construction is excellent and the cigar smokes perfectly. Easy to draw with very even burn and no canoeing. Even at the full price, these cigars are a solid deal and compete at the high-end with more expensive cigars. The flavor profile is very nice if you like a medium bodied cigar. As someone who generally smokes a full body cigar, I would have liked a bit more umph, but it is still an extremely satisfying smoke; I typically go for the Series V, but the particular cigar I like was not on sale, which is why I decided to give this one a try. Well, I prefer a slightly fuller, bodied cigar, I am not at all disappointed and look forward to enjoying the rest of the box. 5 5 1
Torpedo Good smoke not too strong 4 5 1
Torpedo Absolutely delightful daily smoke. I've never had an issue with quality control on this cigar even after about 100 or so. Can't recommend this one enough! 5 5 1
Torpedo Very satisfied 😌 5 5 1
Torpedo everything was great but, i learned i don't like box pressed or the torpedo style. 5 5 1
Torpedo Box pressed which tends to unwrap. Mildly pleasant cigar 3 5 1
Torpedo They are a bit dry and the wrap flakes off while smoking. I was expecting a little better performance from Olivia. The Rocky Patel order I also recently made was awesome! 3 5 1
Torpedo The boxes cigars was too soft didn't burn good didn't hold together Not really happy with these 2 5 1
Torpedo Always a decent smoke will buy again, Oliva ya can't go wrong. 5 5 1
Torpedo The cameroon wrapper is my favorite wrapper. It has a natural sweetness with a nice medium flavored draw. Its always one of my go to sticks. 5 5 1
Torpedo great smoke 5 5 1
Torpedo Nice flavor and easy smoke down to the nub. Well packed as wrapper stays tight and binder/filler allow easy draw for smoking. 5 5 1
Torpedo Good smoke. 4 5 1
Torpedo I must have gotten a bad 5 pack. These are the most inconsistent cigars. The flavors have been way off. The draw has been inconsistent. Some to the point they were unsmokable. Then a couple were so loose it was like sucking through a straw. I've had other Oliva cigars and they have been great. These just missed the mark. Won't stop buying Olivas, just not these. 2 5 1
Torpedo I have been smoking a lot of Oliva cigars lately, mainly because they have represented a superior value purchased here in samplers, like I have done...I have a new appreciation of the Serie G...Top notch construction, flawlessly burn and a smooth elegant flavor...Having smoked far more Oliva cigars than ever before I must say I have found them superior in overall performance over any of their core lines to any comparably priced cigars... 5 5 1
Torpedo Sometimes there good, last 2 times not so much! 4 5 1
Torpedo Ok, boys and girls… this is a great one. Strong construction, great smoke, even burn. And the flavor is wonderful with that Cameroon toothy wrapper. Oak, little bit of peanut, and wonderful warm tobacco. It’s great! 5 5 1

Oliva Serie G

Torpedo 6.50 × 52 OSGTO

Oliva Serie G Torpedo is an expertly rolled figurado made in the classic Cuban tradition with aged Nicaraguan Habano fillers inside a toothy, oily, Cameroon wrapper from Africa.  The cigar is medium-bodied in strength and very full-flavored.
