Habano Toro I rated this low on draw and consistency because of the number of sticks that were too tightly wrapped. So far I've smoked all but one of the bundle. I got through the tight ones but had to use a small Phillips screwdriver to get a hole in the things for some sort of draw. They always righted themselves but it was a bit much work for my enjoyment. I'm sure not all bundles are the same but I'll probably not buy another bundle of these. When the draw is good it's a great smoke for the price. When it's not it's just too much work. 3 5 1
Habano Toro While I like the cigar the size was not as advertised. I received a 6 X 52. When I called JR's they told me that the size and wrapper color on the overruns varies and gave me a partial credit. 4 5 1

Habano Toro My second order of these really strong cigar and I can't hardly tell these are not first quality cigars both orders I received were like a box pressed cigar (square) but that didn't affect the smoke for me! There might be a slight construction issue on a very few of the cigars but that wouldn't stop me from ordering again these are what I would assume a Cuban would taste like! 4 5 1

Habano Toro Got mine yesterday and fired one up last night after doing a thorough inspection. Definitely a good call in this case as the stick was ready to go. At first it started a bit mild then got progressively stronger towards the end. Nicely aged tobacco with hints of spice and leather not a lot of cedar (I appreciate that) tasty start to finish. Lots of smoke. If I had a complaint it would be that the ash split like a Y and thus I had to tap it off too soon. 4 5 1

Habano Toro I've been ordering the Nicaraguan Overruns (the toro is my go-to size) for a while now, and I absolutely love them. They do vary in size and color a bit (the last three-bundle order I got were three slightly different sizes and shades, while my latest order had three identical bundles), but you ALWAYS get very good, and sometimes great, smokeable cigars. The worst bundle of overruns I've received was still quite tasty. Once in a great while you get one that burns a tiny bit sideways, but for the money, these can NOT be beat. I'd say you're getting five to ten dollar cigars for less than two bucks a piece. There's no better daily cigar anywhere, especially at this price point. 5 5 1

Habano Toro So I have done a few reviews on these over the years and two or so in the last 6 months. These were my go to daily smoke for a long time. I can no longer recommend them even when on sale. I have a hard time believing these are overruns. An overrun is supposed to be an unbanded premium stick. In years past I think this may have been true, but there is no way what I have received the past few orders are premium. I would be very angry if I paid the lost price of $114 for 20 of these. Even at the "discount" price just short of $50 they are no longer worth it. I buy several bundles at a time when they go on sale for $29. .. I will not do this again, at least for these Habano Toros. They are dry and cracked: or crack immediately when cut. On average I can get 13-15 sticks out of a bundle of 20 that are not trash. JR responded to my last review offering exchange which I appreciated, but honestly, for $29 I let it ride. I gave them another shot during the last sale and this was a mistake as I received the exact same thing with the same issues. Many of the overruns are a good buy but I would stay away from the Toros until they turn over the current stock. 1 5 1

Habano Toro I ordered a bundle of these a few weeks ago... got a nice box pressed 54 ring long filler cigar .. great smoke...Would give that bundle a great review. Reordered a week later and ordered two bundles. Received a 48 to 50 ring cigar, which was just a red hot mess... Much like a Quorum cigar in size and taste... fell apart and wrapper peeled, dropped ash and wrapper everywhere. . Tried five or six out of separate bundles same result... have thrown them in the humidor hoping to make them smokeable but with no long filler in these, think I'm better off scrapping the lot..Already lost one golf shirt, . Have contacted JR's to see if they sent me the wrong cigars in the second order. I've rated the consistency as a 1 but think it should be a five as they were all consistently bad... Good luck if you order them sbut unless there was a mistake in the shipment I would stay away from these. 1 5 1

Sizes are inconsistent even within the same order. Typically 3 or 4 within the bundle are so dry that they crumble or crack just on cutting or removing from the cellophane.
