Habano Robusto This is one of the worst cigars I have tried so far since I have been smoking. Terrible draw construction is inconsistent and there is no flavor. And worst of all I purchased 40 of them. I couldn't even give them to friends to try to get them off my hand. 1 5 1

Habano Robusto I know they say the size may very but the ring gauge was 56 not 50. I do not like a large ring gauge cigar. With that said the cigar was great. As the other reviews stated there were a lot of them that imploded on me. If it wasn't for the size problem I would definitely purchase these again. 4 5 1
Habano Robusto Not a bad stick. A little bit of spice and earthiness on the flavor and its designation of medium-full is spot-on. My bundle contained 5x52 sticks: generally good construction holds a nice ash. Wrapper can be dry on some cigars but the smoke is still good and the burn is reasonably even. Nice draw -- neither too loose nor too tight. Not an amazing cigar but for the price it smokes well. 4 5 1
Habano Robusto These robustos have good construction solid roll and good draw but they're not really the flavor profile I'm looking for. Definitely not the bold spicy sticks that the toros are (well were -- they seem to be NLA now) but not bad. Just not great. Hey they're overruns. 3 5 1
Habano Robusto I have been getting the Easy Eddie's because of the value but this cigar burns better tastes better and burns cooler than the Eddies. I think I've found my new fav budget smoke. 4 5 1

Habano Robusto I have ordered overruns before and am a fan. I usually get the maduro but decided to try the habano. The burn is nice and slow. The draw us a little tight but good smoke output. Good firm pack. The flavor is quite tasty and pleasing. I will definitely order these again. 4 5 1

Habano Robusto I first ordered these as a garage & yard stick when doing chores around the house. I now order at least 2 bundles with every JR order. Its a medium to full body smoke with nut charcoal and hints of earthy coffee. They burn very even and draw fine. Every bundle has been fairly consistent and my friends are surprised when I tell them its a generic stick from JRs. I have had some problems with the wrappers as I near the end or I would give it a solid 4. 3 5 1

Habano Robusto The best product for price. These are very good cigars I keep thinking they will sell out they are over runs after all but do not let that fool you. I have got several sizes per bundle ( all the better ) and these are full bodied smokes that are fantastic value right now. But I hope you look at them and do not buy so I can get more for me. JR has best prices fastest delivery and the Customer Service is the best in industry. I used to shop a couple of the big name Pennsylvania retailers but JR has proven to be cheaper on all but the few price controlled brands ( Padron ). But my only gripe is I have to either call or go to my local JR Store ( I am lucky to have one within 10 miles ) to get JR64MO. But these Nic Overruns are very good and worth every penny. 4 5 1

Habano Robusto OK so I wasn't that hesitant to buy these. $30 for a 20 pack and with the discount coupon I had more like $24 so less than $1.30 a stick. That's not a gamble at all in the cigar world. So I've smoked two now and here's my thought... good value for money but the prose at the top of the page MIGHT be overselling these cigars a bit. I found the burn to be uneven and the construction was a bit inconsistent. Draw was good with a punch cut excellent with a straight cut. The flavor is where this one is a winner for me and I think this is a stick that would seriously benefit from a few months in the humidor. The pack I received was 5x52 just nice. Notes of leather and spice with a grassy element in the background. I liked it... paired the first one with a Johnnie Walker Platinum 18yo the second with a Nikka Taketsuru 17yo. Both were good but the latter was sublime. The spicy notes of the cigar played off the creamy mouthfeel of the whisky beautifully. Despite the inconsistent burn (and having to relight each at least once) I smoked them down to the nub -- about 1.25 inches just too hot to handle at that point. Both sticks held a reasonable ash (almost an inch) and I got a solid 40-45 minute smoke per cigar. Would I buy again? Likely though I might consider a Dominican too. This is a good smoke not a great one and is IMO a fine cigar to share with your mooch pals -- they'll get a nice smoke and you won't be coughing up your $5-10 sticks for them. :) 4 5 1

Habano Robusto Great everyday cigar. For the price maybe it is the best I have ever tried. The flavor draw and construction is much better than my expectations. Better than Los Statos for its price range. The only down side is it makes a little black smoke when lighting. Never seen such a thing before. 4 5 1

Habano Robusto First impressions its a nice cigar for the price. It has an ok construction with a toothy and a darker tone wrapper. The scent it is woodsy and pepper its a medium to full but it is missing the smoothness it does have a bite. Flavor at first you get a peppery strong wood with a bit of floral. It starts to smooth out after the first third it becomes a little sweet and creamy with a faint nutty note. It does have smoother short finish flavor does not linger there long. Good burn and ash went half life. Last third getting sweet wood and peppery note has returned but with a nice spicy bite. At the end its a good cigar for the price $1.50 a stick not bad but it does not have the depth other more expensive nicaraguan cigars have. It is a nice EDC (every day cigar) good bundle to try. Good construction good loose draw medium flavor but consistent. 4 5 1

Habano Robusto Never again. When they say sizes may vary because of being overruns I expected a slight variance in size. Instead although they advertise 5x46 I received a package clearly marked 5x42. When you call and question the shipment you are told the same old song and dance they are overruns. 2 5 1

Habano Robusto I smoke these regularly. They are a consistent stick that are a regular in my rotation. As they say, these are overruns so they are "close" to the measurements listed. However, in multiple bundles, no two have been exactly the same. That said, the consistency of flavor and overall smoke is pretty good. The construction seems a bit lower than a premium stick. They are listed as overruns, but I think they are more along the lines of unlabeled seconds. In any case they are a reasonable smoke for the price point. 4 5 1
Habano Robusto I've copping these bundles at various times when on sale and they have never failed to be a good quality smoke. Nice draw and burn, good flavor and construction. An occasional problem with burn with one or two in a bunch but not a big deal. Great smoke for out doing yard work and watering the garden or generally lounging outside. 4 5 1

Habano Robusto I've been trying a lot of economy cigars in search of the best flavor at the lowest price. I think I have found it with these Nicaraguan Overruns. They remind me of a non box-pressed New World by AJ Fernandez. Earthy with a slight spice and consistent sweetness. I recommend these. You can't beat them for the price and value! 4 5 1

Habano Robusto Well, I bought 5 bundles of these to take up to the hunt cabin. You get the idea...a bunch of guys smoking a bunch of cigars playing cards after hunting all day. Well, these cigars, which I smoke often, were just awful. I would not buy again. Every single one...and I mean EVERY one cracked either on cutting or while smoking; with the wrapper basically falling apart off the stick. We opened 3 different bundles just to be sure it wasn't just one batch. I don't know what has gone wrong on these and they used to be a best kept secret. Now they are so inconsistent that eve at such a low price I feel ripped off when I open a bundle and find such poor workmanship etc. No recourse to return so I recommend that you NOT buy these. 1 5 1

Habano Robusto I’ve never received a 3 star batch, they have all been 1 or 5. So it’s an average. When these are good, they’re superb. Slow, even burn, deep; complex flavor. I lucked into a box pressed batch one time that were out of this world. Unfortunately, particularly recently, you’re more likely to receive a batch of leaky draw, bitter, harsh smokes. Habano Robusto For all the people complaining about size, it literally states in the description that size varies. Cry me a river. I usually get the maduro but decided to try these for fun. I let them sit in my humidor for a couple weeks and they are great! It tastes as good as any premium cigar I’ve had. Great job JR Cigars! I shop here exclusively and love the shipping speed. 5 5 1

Habano Robusto I wait for these puppies to go on sale and snatch 'em up for casual, walking, talking or reading on the porch type smoking. Nice flavor and generally good construction though there can be some poorly constructed sticks among the twenty.but you can get that eve with the expensive smokes. 4 5 1

Habano Robusto My current bundle has about a 50% success rate, in terms of being able to finish the smoke. They're tasty, good looking, oily cigars that I very much enjoy when they aren't rolled too tight or plugged. At the current sale price, I was hoping to average a buck and a half per stick. But the 50% failure rate brings these back to the $3 price range, which isn't worth it when you can catch deals on Oliva and similar brands in the $3 - $4 range, IMO. 3 5 1
Habano Robusto As a 2-3 per day smoker, I'm always searching for that $2.00 or under "good smoke". These 5x50 Habano Robustos are the best I've found, with far fewer problems, especially with draw, that one encounters in that price range. I've bought a lot. I really like them. HOWEVER, the last two shipments of 2 bundles each, with the IDENTICAL SKU (NOVHR) have contained 4x52 Torpedos which are not shown on the Overrun web page. I'm going around, etc., with customer service. I'd advise others to hold off on these otherwise really good cigars until the problem is resolved. 2 5 1

Habano Robusto These cigars are good. They burn evenly, have a perfect draw, and fill my mouth full of smoke with each puff. They are short filler, so I am occasionally spitting out bits of tobacco, but since I smoke outside, this isn’t an issue. I hope to find them in a longer version with my next order. They are fresh, with no cracks or peeling wrappers. 4 5 1
Habano Robusto I went into these with cautious optimism after reading several reviews. It appeared that customers either got great batches or ones that fell flat. My gamble paid off. Presmoke reviled a well constructed oily wrapper. The cold draw from a 9mm punch was easy and well balanced semi bitter sweet. I fired the first one up on a crisp February Wisconsin night with my Zippo torch. First draw was creamy sweet with the right touch of bitterness. The creaminess remained throughout with a phenomenal retrohale that carried the creaminess through the nazal passages. The burn remained lazer straight throughout. The ash remained tight and lost its inevitable battle with gravity at the half way point. Two thirds in the creaminess takes on a pleasant toasted profile that remains until the end. Overall smoke time was just shy of an hour. This was slightly accelerated by the 26 degree Wisconsin winter night. Not clear if I was just lucky with this bundle but after such a great experience I'll be willing to take this gamble again. Thank you JR for making available a premium smoke for less than $1.60 a stick! 5 5 1
