Petite I'm a new cigar smoker so take that into account. This is also the first time I've felt an urge to submit a review. Appearance construction tactile impression -- Very supple wrapper; maybe some bigger veins that I expected but nothing to detract from it. Solid construction that produced a very even burn and ash that didn't fall off until I was ready for it to. I'm a sucker for fancy colorful bands and this has not one but two gorgeous bands. Draw -- Love it. Almost no resistance. Not quite like drawing through a soda straw but close. Lots of smoke. Flavor -- As a new cigar smoker I like mild cigars. This one has a bit more to it than I would probably like with most cigars but it is so smooth I was very happy with it. No harshness at all. Consistent beginning to end. 5 5 1

My Father La Opulencia Petite is a premium box-pressed cigar presented in a stunning reddish brown Mexican Rosado wrapper over a classic blend of aged Nicaraguan binder and fillers grown on the Garcia family farm in Estelí. This small (4.5 × 48) cigar serves up medium- full body notes of chocolate, leather, spice, and cocoa, with a lush creaminess on the palate.      

This cigar was even named the number 2 Cigar of the Year for the Cigar Aficionado Top 25 Cigars for 2018.
