This cigar produces a nice clean smoke with decent construction and a smooth easy draw. With hints of vanilla it is great to smoke with white wine.

I have had 5 of the my father series soaking in my humidor for several months. I broke one out last night as is my habit after work. First impression was what a beautiful stick. The band was beautiful the wrapper had a dark brown sheen. The aroma was great and very firm packed. When I took the first draw I knew I was in for a treat. Very creamy with a hint of sweetness and chocolate followed by a slight coffe follow through. The burn was fabulas with no touch ups needed. As it progressed along came hints of spice but the creamyness never left. When I smoked it down to the point of nothing left to hold I was left with a desire for more. By far one of the best sticks I have smoked in a long time. If you love good cigars you can't go wrong here.

The El Centurion line is excellent! Just on the full side of medium bodied these sticks are earthy and delicious. Flawless construction and a smooth draw make this a nearly perfect cigar.

What an amazing cigar. Spicy to start out with and then mellows a little so as not to be over powering. A subtle sweetness almost milk chocolate note throughout. Medium to full in strength.

Great flavors along with the amount of smoke output and has smoke coming out of the foot as well

Great spicy smoke. Plenty of flavor and spice. Good with a bourbon on a hot summer night. A must try

Like several others have mentioned, I definitely got the taste of chocolate as the primary flavor. It wasn’t overwhelming, but definitely present. It wasn’t my favorite My Father, but definitely not bad. It’s worth what the price is. I got a solid 2 hours out of this. It didn’t have any burn issues at all. I love the taste of cigars, but I enjoy smelling the smoke of one just sitting on my ashtray just as much. This cigar was better than your average run of the mill, but it wasn’t mind blowing either. One thing I appreciated is that it didn’t give me that pepper taste down towards the last quarter. I enjoyed this, but I don’t smoke enough to buy more of them. Overall, I’d give it a solid 3.5, maybe 4 stars. I think I’ll stick to the other my father cigars, most of which are my favorites!

My Father El Centurion
Toro Grande 6.50 × 58 MFECTG
The largest in stature of the My Father El Centurion line, the Toro Gordo has a whopping 58 gauge ring and 6.5 inch body. This artfully designed Nicaraguan smoke is the first limited-edition offering from the famed Garcia family due to the extremely rare Criollo wrapper used to create it. As a nice complement to the sleek covering, the Nicaraguan tobaccos display intense flavors that range from darkly sweet fruits to rich spice. There were only 800 20-count boxes made total, so we suggest picking up a box for your humidor now.
