Churchill Went to the smoke shop the other day and got one. Good flavor excellent draw and burn. Top notch smoke. 4 5 1
Churchill There are so-so Monty's and there are overpriced Monty's but this White Series with a tasty Ecuador Connecticut Shade wrapper is Excellent and worth every penny. The taste is no more than medium- but it is an interesting and complex smoke. The true excellence is in the rolling- perfect draw perfect ash. And a SLOW burner with lots of smoke. Give yourself plenty of time after dinner with coffee and whiskey. 4 5 1

Churchill Montecristo cigars are some of my favorite sticks to smoke.. This one has a light blonde wrapper leaf which is virtually free of noticeable veins and topped with a triple cap.. Burn was a little uneven at the start but evened up about 3/4 of a inch into it.. It had a earthywoodysweet taste to it but a very good flavor to it. To me this was a full bodied cigar that I really enjoyed smoking.. 5 5 1

Churchill The first puffs of this Montecristo White Series cigar were earthy woody sweet and ultra-smooth with a payload of rich-tasting thick white smoke on a long finish. When retrohaled I got a clear impression of just how full-flavored this cigar is. Though the retrohale had an ample shot of pepper there was no peppery taste at all when smoked normally. As the cigar began to settle in I determined the base flavors were those of earthiness and sweet wood with some nutty notes giving this cigar a fair amount of complexity excellent balance and a sweet and woody aroma. 5 5 1

Churchill I have a lot of Monte White s in my humidor (I have 800-900 sticks in my humidor). I don't know if that's because I don't prefer them or because I want to save/savour them. I like them for sure but I find that in general they tend to have a heavier smoke than I prefer... So I guess I pull them out when I know I'll have a port or a scotch in my hand (which ain't often enough). Every time I smoke one of these I marvel at the craftsmanship. They are consistently beautiful. The foot is not spectacular. I've gotten a few long foots on the Churchill Montes. The foot color is grayer than black. But always a good draw. I don't think I've ever had to poke a Monte (especially a Churchill) One thing I like to do with my heavy smokers: put 'em in my 8x6 Tupperware tub with 2oz of good Cognac (Congnac in a plastic soap holder)... Pile cedar planks on top of the soap holder. Monitor! Usually takes three days to get 'nice and sticky. 4 5 1

Churchill Received this in a sampler awhile back. I can see why it is so popular. This cigar was a very pleasant smoke that had mild but good flavor which remained consistent for the entire smoke. I prefer stronger sticks with complex flavor profiles and yet still enjoyed this one very much. 4 5 1
Churchill I really enjoyed the first one I had yesterday so I felt compelled to write a review. The 4.3 rating at this review time is completely valid. These are very good. I used a punch cut on this and the draw was perfect. Did require 2 touch ups but nothing extreme to be off-putting. It lasted well over an hour to smoke. I enjoy mild-medium cigars and this is a great choice in that range. Flavor is consistent (not much complexity though if you are looking for that), VERY smooth and creamy throughout the first 3/4ths of the cigar. Super thick white smoke from this. It does get pretty strong in the final 1/4, but I had a Churchill (which I would call a larger cigar) so that's to be expected since the flavors and nicotine obviously build up and concentrate near the cap. 5 5 1

Churchill The Montecristo White Label Churchills were my "go-to" for years until I started enjoying cigars on a more regular basis a year or two ago. They regularly cost more than I like to spend, but I thought they were worth another look when JR put the five packs on sale. I'd describe the strength as more mild to medium. Burn was very even. Taste was pretty nondescript. There are too many better alternatives available (example: The Romeo y Julieta 7 x 50 Churchill), before taking value into account. One had draw issues resolved by recutting very close to the shoulder. They're OK, but wouldn't be one of the first five cigars I'd pull out of the humidor if I had an evening to relax or celebrate. 3 5 1

Churchill Went into local lounge and decided to grab this. First off I got almost 3 hours out of it. I am more intomed+ to strong evening cigars but wanted to try this. It is very good. Cedar, sweetness like from vanilla. Definite nuttiness as well as white pepper. Great draw. Overall construction was good although mine did need a couple of touchups. It is a 2 band cigar. When I went to take 2nd band off wrapper peeled a bit but that was so close to end of cigar it didn't bother me much. It is an expensive cigar but if you want to treat yourself to a $20+ stick that lasts that long give this one a shot 4 5 1
