Toro always loved Montecristo, especially #2 , and white series. Most of my smoke is Dominican. But these Nicaraguan montes are unbelievably great smokes. I might have a new favorite. 5 5 1
Toro Got a 5 or 10 pack on sale. Wasn’t that impressed with the first one, on the day I got them. After a few weeks in the humidor, they might now be a favorite. Full yet smooth, gorgeous construction and burn. Beautiful silky wrapper. Rich flavors of coffee, cream, spice, wood, and a bit of caramel. Only minor complaint is that I wish they held an ash a bit better. Flick or get ash on your clothes, haha. Not a game changer at all. A great cigar. 5 5 1
Toro Excellent construction, draw, burn, & consistency; with a firm, white ash. The rich & well-balanced, full-bodied flavor is exactly as described. A true premium Nicaraguan puro that’s worth every penny. 5 5 1
Toro Nothing to write home about but at the same time I could see myself grabbing this cigar over my others. 4 5 1
Toro Interesting smoke. Starts with a pleasing cold taste. Progresses to a even and slow burn. Pleasant aroma. Notes of spice, leather, hint of earth, and dark coffee. However, as the smoking experience progresses, the flavor quickly becomes unduly harsh, to the point where one wishes to put it out only half way through. So, I must conclude that it is not worth the purchase. JR sells many other cigars that have comparable benefits without this problem, such as Saint Luis Rey Serie G in both natural and maduro wrappers, Ashton, and most of the Perdomo Connecticut wrappers, 4 5 1
Toro I’m usually not a big fan of Nicaraguan cigars. But since it’s a Monte, I thought I’d give it a try. Not disappointed. Great flavor profile. Coffee and caramel. A slight sweetness. I really enjoyed the smoke. The draw was good. Nice, even burn. 4 5 1
Toro This cigar had an absolute beautiful wrapper, the flavor was such a delight. The draw was perfect, not tight or loose, I will be buying a box when I have the room. I received mine in a sampler pack. I recommend this cigar to anyone. It’s a solid smoke! 5 5 1
Toro What struck me with this cigar is the smoothness of the draw. Don't get me wrong, the flavors are there, but the smoothness is the strength of this stick. Smoked a whole box of twenty, constant 100% but it's far from being a Full, this is more of a medium cigar. 4 5 1
Toro Wow, this cigar smokes beautifully with a glass of bourbon. Of course it needs to be high proof of 100 or above. This cigar is slow and decadent to say the least. The flavors are mild with leather, slightly peppery, with leather at the end. Definitely a feel good evening of happiness and relaxation after a hard days work. Perfect in my thoughts!!! 5 5 1
