The medium-full bodied flavor is as described, with additional notes of sweet tobacco & caramel. Decent construction, slightly tight draw, & relatively even burn; with a moderately firm, slightly disheveled, white/black ash. The Nicaraguan Habano Rosado Oscuro wrapper is dark reddish-brown and nicely rolled. The single cap, however, is small, barely extends past the shoulder, and comes off soon after cutting. This can allow the wrapper to start unraveling at the head. Frankly, at $12 a stick, one expects better - especially a triple-cap.

I appreciate that these sticks are listed as Maduro and full strength. Even so, I find them unduly harsh, with very little flavor. The construction and draw are good, yet the aroma is not there. There are many better strong cigars sold by JR. Partagas Black Label and Gurkha Colorado are examples. Try those. Please do not waste your money on these!
