Gordo Great cigar. Will buy again 5 5 1
Gordo Tasty! 5 5 1
Gordo WOW......... a tasty smoke...... rich, smooth yet robust......... love this cigar 5 5 1
Gordo A box pressed gordo? Hmm. This is classic aj, but montecristo? How can I say? Take it at face value. A gigantic box press aj number, strong without harshness, A two hour smoke for myself. 5 5 1
Gordo Purchased a 5 pack of the Gordo back in 2019, decided on starting my day with this cigar and coffee. Excellent cigar on the flavor, strength is more medium full until last third, end ramps up. Sweet tobacco blended with a cashew finish, AJ did a great blend. If you let it season the cigar will provide an enjoyable smoke. 5 5 1
Gordo Like smoking air? This will really satisfy you then. Too lightly wrapped. Doesn’t burn evenly not what I would expect from any cigar! Waste of money! 2 5 1
Gordo what nice cigars this are, i smoke mostly Habana leaf, but when i want to change paces and smoke something light to medium body with some mojitos, this is my choice, does not compete with the Island leaf,, lets get that upfront , this is something else, nice, pretty well made and much more lower price than the Habanos. Now, they smoke well, burn even, stay lite, and are very one dimensional, a good one direction. no roller coaster of flavors or symphony of flavors. They go perfect with a very cold root beer and some sips of oaky whiskey. I sure buy this when they are on sale, well worth the Jrs sale price. 4 5 1
Gordo Need more priced at this. I LV the Fernando collection 4 5 1
Gordo One of the smoothest everyday smokes I keep in my humidor. Beautiful construction, burn is always consistent and it smokes right down to the butt. Flavors are smooth, nothing bitter or harsh. I do get tired of unwrapping these things, but it does make for a good looking stick. 5 5 1
Gordo A bit harsh , well made . Worth a try , will buy again for a sometimes smoke 4 5 1
Gordo I prefer maduro everything. However, any cigar I deem worthy finds room in the refrigador, and this is one of those cigars. In all honesty this cigar's presentation - it's box pressed, smooth waxy wrapper appearance, and it's never ending presence in my orders as an add on here at JR cigars - I had to try them and they are so good I won't let my count of them get down to less than 3 sticks. 5 5 1
Gordo Great 5 5 1
Gordo Great construction, flavor and draw. Never a disappointment. 5 5 1
Gordo Very nice smooth smoke. First time trying the montecristo. Not a disappointment. Generally I’m a maduro fan Nicaraguan filler with San Andreas wrapper. These were very interesting and with the price. I went for it. I like a medium full body stick. These to me were a smooth medium. Nice burn nice smoke. Not harsh at all. Creamy caramel flavor little more leather on the end . Can’t go wrong with these sticks. I will be buying more of these 5 5 1
Gordo Great construction, shape burn and all but It is light on flavor. Not bad by any means and would recommend, just not be for those who are looking for a mean cigar. Mine was a little damaged and still had zero issues with burn, draw or continuously falling apart which was awesome 4 5 1
Gordo This is one of those time that 5 or 10 just won't do. Super smooth with lots of flavor. 5 5 1
Gordo Great cigar if you’re looking for strength and smoothness. Good quality would definitely recommend a try. 5 5 1
Gordo Another good smoke by AJ. On a deal would buy again. Nice change of pace. 4 5 1
Gordo Was disappointed that I was sent the wrong 5 pack , fist call I was told to ship them back. 2 nd call was told to keep the wrong ones we will send you the correct ones. That’s a big thumbs up for the customer service rep who took my second call 5 5 1
Gordo ! 4 5 1
Gordo This cigar is quite interesting. Starting with the cold taste, one enjoys notes of chocolate, cream and very mild spice. Once lit, the cigar provides notes of chocolate, cream, spice and caramel. The draw. consistency and construction remain quite well throughout the smoke. I am not usually a fan of box pressed cigars, for the draw tends to be obnoxious. Yet such is not the case with these. They tend to be a bit pricey for they carry the Montecristo label. I purchased mine on sale. 4 5 1
Gordo Crafted by AJ F is better than any traditional Monte. Box pressed, full body, high nicotine level, draws & finishes. Awesome. 5 5 1
Gordo It’s a great cigar. This is one of my favorites. So smooth and flavorful that I smoke them til my fingers start to burn. Draw, burn and construction are always perfect. 1000 out of 10!! Grab these when you can!! Or don’t and leave more for me LOL!! 5 5 1
Gordo Excellent flavor and construction. 5 5 1
Gordo excellent construction & burn....one of my favorites 5 5 1
Gordo These have become my new favorite, go to smokes. Though they are too pricey unless on sale. 5 5 1
Gordo Fantastic cigars with robust taste and quality construction. 5 5 1
Gordo excellent cigar. Great burn and taste. 5 5 1
Gordo Always consistent in flavor and construction. 5 5 1
Gordo I got these on one of JR specials. The price was right, but the quality seemed below that of other Montecristo (Fernandez) cigars I had bought in the past. Usually those cigars are as advertised by JR and among my preferred cigars. This batch wasn't quite up to par, but still quite good.Maybe they use second grade tobacco when cigars are on sale? Still about 3 to 4 stars, rather than 4 to 5 (my usual rating of this line). 3 5 1
Gordo This is a pretty good blend. I like the AJ RyJ better, but the Montecristo is good too. They are completely different, so someone else may like the Montecristo more. 4 5 1
Gordo I’m not big on the box pressed shape but the construction was perfect. Clean smooth burn with an excellent draw. Deep chocolate tobacco flavors throughout with some smooth creamy notes. I ordered more after the first one. 5 5 1
Gordo Great draw, great construction. 5 5 1
Gordo Well constructed and overall good smoke. 4 5 1
