Toro Very Good Cigar. By Far one my favorites from MonteCristo 5 5 1
Toro Excellent construction. Smooth draw. Mild and tasty smoke all the way up the nub. Outstanding stogie 5 5 1
Toro I purchased a box of the clasico coronas some months back and it was upon the strength of these that I picked up some of the toro size. What a disappointment. Imagine the scent of your old aunt Katie's hand bag. You know the one, she never married, she does on you and your siblings, eats crumpets and marmalade with her afternoon tea and has doilies on the crowns of all her wing back chairs? All older 20 dollar bills smell like her purse. Go ahead, sniff a few and see what I mean (I actually just did). These cigars leave a strong finish of that very smell. Sweet, floral and slightly cloying. That is the predominant presence of this cigar. If you happen to like this smell..great, buy this cigar. I don't. Pity. The cigar is as finely crafted as any montecristo, it yields a bit less smoke than some of the others but certainly enough to keep one interested. It is just too flowery for me. 3 5 1

Toro so far, 2 of 11 Montecristo classic Churchill's would not draw and had to be discarded. $32,00 down the drain. Wrapper leaf cracks and peels away somewhat. 4 5 1

Toro This is a monte and Montes have class. They nearly always smoke well, they deliver that smoke in volumes. I have had many of their lines. This is a disappointing one. It just tastes like perfume. Far too flowery with a grassy finish. I thought the box I had would age out maybe but I gave it two years and it never got better. Of course clearly some people like that profile but if you see my little reviews here you will find that floral cigars get low marks. 3 5 1
