No. 2 Torpedo I have smoked Monte's for 40 years and the #2 is the top of their line. Smooth medium to mild and consistently a relaxing elegant smoke. It always impresses when I give them to business associates and friends. This stick is a score whenever JR runs a special. A month or two in my humidor seems to be the secret. Never a bad burn. Can't believe the few bad reviews are smoking the same cigar. 4 5 1

No. 2 Torpedo Very disappointed with this order. It's pretty hard to screw up a number 2 but JR managed to do it. 3 of the 5 are basically unsmokable. So dry they essentially fell apart as soon as I tried lighting. I couldn't store them in the humi for long as they were for a bachelor party. I've ordered a lot from Jr and usually have no issues so I'm hoping this was just a one time problem. 3 5 1

No. 2 Torpedo I got this as part of a sampler pack from JR. This is just an OK cigar for me. I enjoyed it with with some Starbucks Sumatra coffee after lunch. This is a very mellow cigar that without the wrapper burning is absolutely no good. I mention the wrapper because I fought the wrapper all cigar long with half staying lit and the other half going out :( . I wouldn't buy it again because there are better cigars at a better price point. 3 5 1

No. 2 Torpedo These are not real number 2. I purchased a 10 pack on the Christmas deal for 50 bucks and now I deeply regret that I didn't take a closer look at the picture. The construction is terrible many of them have holes on the wrapper. Overall it's a flavorless unworthy-to-smoke cigar. I wonder these are straight out fakes or some different editions. No. 2 Torpedo I very much enjoy this cigar; however in the recent 10 pack I received the first cigar had a very splotchy wrapper which cracked during the 1st third of the cigar and began unraveling uncontrollably. No. 2 Torpedo I finally got a chance to try the renowned Montecristo #2, and it was such letdown. They taper too much from the foot, so that it's not much more than a corona once past the halfway point. The draw is tight, the wrapper cracks and peels about halfway through. The other sized Montes have been much more satisfying. 3 5 1

No. 2 Torpedo While the cigar is very good. It's smooth, light and mild as it should be. The shape is not a torpedo. It is actually a Piramide. However I think the size is also off from a Piramide. It is definately not a torpedo. Possibly a #2 size as stated, But certainly a junior size next to the well known Torpedo. I would have givne a 5 star rating if the cigar discription was accurate. It is a very good smoke for the money. I suggest you buy it regardless of what they call it. 4 5 1
