I have bought several boxes of Mayorga cigars from JR Cigars through auctions and they are a good value for the money. Mayorga cigars don't have a great flavor in my opinion. Mayorga cigars do have a good draw and I would purchase Mayorga cigars in the future for no more than $40 for a cedar chest of 20 cigars.

I got these cigars on sale and am so glad I tried them. I'm a big fan of full bodied Maduro wrapped Nicaraguan cigars and these did not disappoint. At first light I was tasting molasses creamy coffee a bit of chocolate and a subtle array of spices. It was smooth to start and only became more so throughout. Layers of flavor rich creamy smoke perfect draw and a great mouth feel. I smoked the first one down to a tiny little nub almost burning my fingers not wanting to end the almost 2 hour endeavor. Will be keeping these stocked even after the sale ends! Thank you JR!

One of the best cheap cigars I've EVER had. I'm surprised these cost $3-$4 each; by the quality I would have guessed $6-$7. Since I got them on auction they were more like $2.25 per! Smooth draw good flavor (though I would put them at medium rather than medium-full). I don't review gars until I've had at least 2 and am smoking my second one right now. Cocoa peppery spice and a bit of leather. First one was a tad harsh but this one after being in the humidor about a month it smooth as silk. Ash held solid quite a while. Would def buy again ESPECIALLY for the price!

I have always loved this smoke and its lighter sister. Very good construction, consistency, and flavor. On occasion, you will get a runner but nothing that a quick side lite won't fix.

Nothing fancy, just a good, well-made smoke that is the same time after time.

Mayorga Torpedo cigars are one of our oldest and most trusted Nicaraguan brands. First Introduced by famed coffee maker Martin Mayorga in 1997, the cigars are now produced by Plascencia , one of the largest tobacco growing families in Nicaragua with many top-rated brands on their huge portfolio. These precisely square-pressed old-world Torpedo’s are covered by one of the darkest and oiliest oscuro wrappers that you will ever lay your eyes on. This beautiful Costa Rican leaf surrounds the finest Nicaraguan binder and long fillers all grown on the palatial Plasencia farms in Estelí, Nicaragua. The cigars are medium -to-full bodied, complex , and packed with flavor, offering luscious notes of earth, licorice, black pepper, espresso, and cream. These affordable maduro’s were one of the least expensive cigars to receive a 94-rating from Cigar aficionado, and the EMS wrapped line has never received a rating below '89'! Order a pack of 5 from JR Cigar today, and enjoy a true Nicaraguan classic that never fails to impress anyone that smokes it.
