Rothschild Great mild - medium cigar. Creamy nutty aromas and flavor with consistently even draw even burn and creamy smoke. Love these with a coffee after breakfast. The reviews with too easy draw probably are too dry. Reviews citing uneven burn problems are probably over-humidified. If you pull one of these out of a properly humidified humidor you can be assured of a very enjoyable experience. 5 5 1

Rothschild I bought a box of these Macanudos and have been very pleased with their overall quality and flavor with a hint of coffee. They are a very mild cigar. They light easily draw well and burn evenly from start to finish. They are packaged neatly and look great. The wrappers are light brown and free of blemishes. I would recommend these cigars for anyone looking for a smooth mild smoke. 4 5 1

Rothschild Well constructed, silky smoke with just a hint of sweet on the finish but I find the faint flavor of acorns in there somewhere ruins what would otherwise be a very pleasant mid day or morning smoke. I am straying from full bodied smokes that are now so powerful that they dull my palate. It's a new adventure. I will give these macs some time and stick to Don Diegos while I explore more. 3 5 1
Rothschild I'm still trying to figure out what the big deal is with Macanudo. To me they are decidedly mediocre. They remind me of cheap Dominican bundles, but they cost a bundle. They are poorly constructed, with a tight draw. 2 5 1
Rothschild This is a regal shape and size but it usnt a Rothschild, lancero maybe. I had been smoking cigars for a few decades and always smoked something other than a Macanudo. They were said to be "beginner cigars". Well, returning from years of "cubanesque" (what ever that means anymore), dense, heavy smokes I now enjoy lighter varieties. Macanudo is now among them. I get a little bit more oatstraw flavor up front than I would like, and a don Diego is more creamy but these are nice afternoon or morning coffee accompaniment. I see some other reviewers have draw problems. In nearing two boxes I have had nothing but perfectly wrapped, perfectly rolled, slightly snug draw, just the way I believe thus size stick should perform. Hmm.. one third through and that straw flavor is dissapering. If you are turning away from the fat heavy smokes, pick up a five pack and check these out. 4 5 1
