Rothschild Descent smoke for the money. My first macanudo with a madouro wrapper. 3 5 1
Rothschild I left all of the ratings at 5 stars simply because of all of the recommendations that I got at local cigar shops to try the Macanudo Maduro. I got a couple of five-packs of these off of JR auctions with a bunch of others and they were just all thrown in an open box with no paper wadding foam or bubble wrap. Both packs were destroyed one even was bent. Didn't get to smoke any of them. I will be calling JR shortly to see about getting these and the others that were ruined replaced. 5 5 1
Rothschild I picked up 5 of these on Rapid-Fire and am glad I did. The cigar is well consctructed and has a nice mellow favor. Nice little bite but no harshness. A Keeper! 5 5 1
Rothschild These are ok. A bit milder than they look. They have the typical Maduro taste but on the milder side of the spectrum. Not super complex just a decent mellow Maduro flavor. I have had this one in other sizes and they can be SUPER tight. Like unsmokeably tight. So this size has the best draw. It is actually a Panatela not a true Rothschild. I get them on auction but probably wouldn't pay full price for them. Just ok. 3 5 1
Rothschild I was mildly disappointed with this cigar. Draw was difficult and favor was ok. Too many other cigars that are better for the price. 3 5 1
Rothschild I read all the reviews and decided to buy a 5 pack. I received them 2 weeks ago and took them to a BBQ with friends. I passed them out and all 5 of us came to the same conclusion. We couldn't decided if the draw or flavor was the worst thing about this cigar. I would not purchased or take a free pack of this cigar again. 1 5 1

Rothschild These Macanudo Maduro zaddy level of flavor and complexity as well as sweetness that the normal Macanudos do not. Mind you I like them a Macanudo brand but these are step above IMHO 5 5 1
Rothschild I wonder if its the dame blend only with maduro wrapper. It thats it the wrapper makes a world of difference if not they came up with a decent blend. 3 5 1
Rothschild I love this cigar ! It's flavorable well made with a consistent construction and a delight to smoke. I love the aroma. I haven't had a problem with the draw in all of the cigars I've smoked. I will buy many more ! 5 5 1

Rothschild This cigar was so tightly compressed that even my modus could not loosen it much. That being said once I did get it started the flavors did not disappoint . Thick rich smoke with a smooth finish. You will have to pull hard to keep it lit. On a scale of 1-10 its about a 6 . A worthy addition to your humidor but not the private reserve. 3 5 1

Rothschild These sticks burn great and smell great and look impressive. For me they totally lack flavor. From start to finish I get mostly bland smoke with a small touch of flavor every several minutes. I normally smoke maduro's that are full bodied so I guess that is why these don't taste like much for me. I say they are very very mild and would be great for a beginner. Nothing bad about ghem just waaaaay to mild for me. 4 5 1

Rothschild I purchased a box of Rothschild's in August and they were rolled pretty tight as well. They were packed in the box very tight compared to other brands purchased. I let them rest in the humidor unboxed and it has seemed to help. Still a great tasting cigar! Plan to order another box or some 5 packs for future enjoyment. 3 5 1
Rothschild Great lil smoke, in the beginning it is tight. Once you start smoking this cigar it loosens up and then you begin to taste the flavors and the are good. It burns evenly. I would definitely recommend this cigar. 5 5 1

Rothschild this was my favorite cigar and I have not smoke one these for a some years, i am disappointed they reduced the ring size and that the outer wrapper was cracking and breaking up. 2 5 1

Rothschild First, I cannot fathom why JR classifies this cigar as "mellow to medium!" I find it very strong and full, I bit harsh, actually.As is to be expected, the cigar gets harsher and more bitter the father down one smokes it. The draw takes effort and so is frustrating. My advice is to look elsewhere. Macanudo makes some excellent, truly mellow, cigars. Duke of York, Prince Philip, any on the Gold label. And JR sells them. 3 5 1
Rothschild Bought a few of these cigars at my local cigar lounge and was very impressed with the quality of the smoke, draw, flavor and construction. Just received 10 from JR and was very disappointed. Draw was horrible and had to cut off more than usually to actually get smoke. Will not be purchasing any more of these any time soon. 2 5 1

Rothschild JR overcharged me for these cigars. They are bad cigars. And wasn’t worth my bid amount, that was half JR’s purchase price, but they charged me full price. I don’t shop on JR any more. You would be best staying away from JR and these cigars. No customer service at all. Bad draw, too small 2 5 1
