Papas Fritas Right out of the gate, amazing first draw. Explosive flavor. Sweet, dark, chocolate, creamy. Not bad for a cuban sandwich. I noticed that if the whole thing isn't lit then you don't get the same flavor out of it. You really gotta have that wrapper lit or you will notice. Great flavor until about the last third where it just went completely flat. Wanted to smoke it to the nub but it had nothin' left. Also, the draw was a bit tight to begin but that's probably because of the size. 4 5 1
Papas Fritas Full-bodied & bold, with balanced flavor as described, plus additional notes of leather & tart berries. Lots of smoke on the draw and streaming from the ember. Excellent construction, draw, burn, & consistency; with a firm & tight, white ash. The dark brown & oily, Connecticut Broadleaf Oscuro wrapper is very nicely finished with a pigtail that clips without letting the wrapper unravel. A must try, for fans of strong, dark, full-bodied cigars. 5 5 1
