Cortez I very much enjoyed this one. A good size yielding about a 45-minute leisurely smoke. Smooth earthy with just a bit of spiciness in the final third of the stick. I'd say this one is overall a bit more to mellow than medium. Good draw very nice construction and held a firm ash. Though I'm not entirely sure this one really commands its regular price (nearly $3 per stick) if you can get it on sale as I did it it's certainly worth it. 4 5 1
Cortez Reminds me of a local handrolled cigar I smoked once in Thailand. Tasted the way the klongs smelled. Don’t waste your money. 1 5 1
Cortez I like the cigar 5 5 1
Cortez Mild, smooth with a nice creamy aftertaste. Goes great with coffee, water, diet pop & your favorite adult beverage. 5 5 1
Cortez I have been enjoying this cigar for several years and I have found it to be the same year after year. I have had very few ones where the wrapper has a defect and the draw is quite consistent. There isn't an amazing flavor to it but it has great odor. Definitely way better than my young children's smelly feet. 3 5 1
Cortez Nothing to get excited aboutits over-priced for its quality 2 5 1
Cortez Fine smokes. Glad I decided to try something new. I recommend these with a glass of bourbon while sitting on the porch in the sunshine. 4 5 1
Cortez Can't go wrong for the money! My go to Cigar.. 5 5 1
Cortez Very mild easy draw would like to find another brand that was similar but haven’t yet. Other cigars taste very strong. 5 5 1
Cortez This is my go to. I prefer a punch cutter, roughly 30 minute smoke. smooth, good taste, on the lighter side so morning - night never overpowering. Finishing my 6th box now. If you like Connecticut wrapper, Brick house Double Connecticut, Olivia or Macanudo you'll enjoy. 4 5 1
Cortez Great price. Quality consistent. Everyday smoke. 4 5 1
Cortez Been smoking these for years. They are fine. 4 5 1
Cortez These are some of my favorite cigars...I usually order the Lonsdale ( ponce de Leon ) size but that selection was sold out...I had to go with a less favored size , the Cortez...A rothschild...Not my favs... 4 5 1
Cortez This are a nice smoke when I want something lighter than a strong maduro but don't want to be puffing on the cigar equivalent of light beer. So far the few I've smoked have had a nice even burn and a pleasant taste from beginning to end. They surpassed what I expected from a less expensive, lighter stick.A good value 4 5 1
Cortez This smoke has all the makings of a tiny gem. Construction and presentation are superior even for a lower priced cigar. But the wrapper does not save it, a dusty sort of lack luster flavor. The draw is excellent, the burn precise. The smoke has some mouth feel but the flavor just doesn't cut it. 3 5 1
Cortez When I bought these I expected it to be an ok cigar and to my surprise it was an amazing cigar. The flavors were just perfect, not too strong but not too mild. I’m happy to say this is amongst my top 10 favorite cigar brands now. 5 5 1
Cortez Great taste 4 5 1
Cortez This is a good smoke with a nice flavor BUT,the wrappers are extremely fragile-be careful. 4 5 1
Cortez My favorite cigar is a Te-Amo, which is all Mexican tobacco. Te-Amo cigars are hard to find and JR has been sold out now for some time. I tried Las Cabrillas because I noticed it had Mexican tobacco binder and filler. I'd hoped it might be similar to Te-Amo. They are not even close. I can smoke one down about half-way before the taste turns nasty. I won't order these again, 2 5 1
Cortez excellent construction, easy draw. The flavor is similar to Romeo Vintage: nutty, creamy and slightly spicy. An excellent cigar when you have only 30 minutes. 4 5 1
Cortez Looks nice on the outside. Not so well inside. Every cigar tunneled. Runs. Good flavor but this is a shipwreck. This is a 50 cent smoke 1 5 1
Cortez I've been a daily cigar smoker for 25+ years. This is one of the most consistent, flavorful smokes. To compare, I also prefer Rocky Patel Edge, Punch (any punch will do), Arturo Fuente Hemingway, Spanish Lonsdale, 878, etc., Hoyo de Monterey and Padron. 5 5 1
Cortez Mild strength & flavor. Tastes like hay & nuts to me. One of my breakfast sticks for 2 decades. Decent budget cigar. 4 5 1
Cortez I rate this cigar very high because it is a great little stick. I smoke one every morning with my Coffee. 5 5 1
Cortez Excellent 5 5 1
Cortez Excellent smoke that won’t break the bank. 5 5 1
