Torpedo No. 1 One thing that hasn't changed is the figuarados with LGC. They are bold complex and has a certain amount of sweetness to it. Construction is impeccable. I do have to say that they need to be aged in the humidor for at least 6 to 8 months to get to its full potential. 4 5 1

Torpedo No. 1 I know Gloria has a huge following and granted they always look real nice are well crafted and burn well... but I have never cared for the taste. There is such a thing as earthy and then there is something like damp earth which does nothing for me. Add to that a rather loose roll- which allows a great draw but doesn't feel quite right and I can get a lot more cigar for the money 'cause this is not a cheap cigar. 3 5 1

Torpedo No. 1 The old Miami version of this cigar was a flavor bomb when you could find them. The Dominican version is considerably toned down but OK and fairly priced in today's market. 4 5 1

The one thing I can vouch for is that whoever rolls their cigars could not roll a roll of paper towel on a machine with fixed settings. They all canoe, and cannot keep a light. Yes, they have a decent flavor profile, but who wants to continually fight a cigar when trying to enjoy it. 3 5 1
