Charlemagne Well constructed cigar mild to medium. Tasting Note : Dark coffee/espresso/earth. There is an edge on these cigars that will smooth itself out greatly and benefit by allowing them to settle in a good humidor for 2 weeks minimum. If you can go 4 even better ! 3 5 1

Charlemagne This cigar looks like it would be a very full body cigar Instead it is a medium body and very smooth the flavor profile includes espresso with hints of pepper chocolate and a subtle spice. The construction is great it has an even burn and draw but this is to be expected from La Gloria Cubana. 5 5 1
Charlemagne I don’t usually smoke Churchill cigars as much but I tried this one and I ended up adding more to my humidor. It burned almost perfectly throughout the entire time with a few minor peaks that corrected themselves without a touch up. Great smoke! 4 5 1

Charlemagne La Gloria is a go to company The Cubana is no different. The draw was a little loose for me and this cigar seemed to smoke fast for such a long stick. But the flavors are complex and the strength is not over powering. 4 5 1
Charlemagne This cigar is tightly packed and topped off with a triple cap at the head.The pre-light aroma is of tobacco and new leather and there is also a hint of sweetness that drifts into the nose. Overall very good cigar and great price as well. 4 5 1

Charlemagne From the cold draw I gathered hits of cedar earth and Suttle hints of leather. The first third was creamy with a dash of cocoa. The second third brought on some hints of white peppercedar whilst staying creamy. I did need to touch up the burn however the draw remained great. The final third had a Carmel cocoa flavor the creamy notes had dissipated however the finish was very nice. 5 5 1

Charlemagne Every once and a while I empty out my humidor and stop smoking cigars to cleanse my palate. When I start up I buy a box of Wavells. Its like a two inch ribeye with portabello mushrooms in madeiro wine glaze. When the first inch of ash falls off the cigar it gets spicy until your down to the end. Take shorter draws. Your lips saturated with rich nutty flavors up to 2 hours after reminding you its almost time to light up again. Inconsistent. Life is full inconsistencies. 3 5 1

Charlemagne This one surprises for a couple reasons one is at first glance it looks like a very strong smoke but is no more than medium and almost mild. The other is a nice taste one can enjoy for almost two hours- if not puffed constantly. When they came and I discovered that they were the wrong cigar I thought it might be nice to give this version a try. Very disappointed. Taste and burn were not very good. Charlemagne I bought a box of 25 because my brother in law got some that were quite good. I tried smoking 3 of them and they were truly AWFUL! The defect is a hole that develops in the cigar center that ruins the taste. Thankfully, I contacted JR customer service who provided me a shipping label and will issue a full refund after they receive the cigars I sent back. I will NEVER buy LaGloria Cubana cigars again! 1 5 1
