Partagas 1845 Gigante I happen to be smoking one of these sticks as I write. I got these on sale a few months ago and let them sit in the humi for awhile. They are quite smooth and pleasant, going well with coffee. They are consistent from stick to stick and I've had no construction issues. The longer they sit the better they get and the larger ring gauge makes for a cool smoking experience. I can't speak much to notes of chocolate, earth or spice but what I do taste is a mellow sweet flavor that sits quite well on my taste buds. As I near the end of the stick ( and I've smoked quite a few over the last weeks) the flavor becomes more intense but never loses it's smoothness. I usually smoke them down to the nub and enjoy every bit of the cigar. 5 5 1

Partagas 1845 Gigante I sold cigars for years as a hobby. One of my favorite cigars is the Partagas 1845 Gigante. These JR alternatives are as close to the original as you can get and it doesn’t break the bank. I smoke big name brand cigars a lot that cost four times much this cigar is a nice alternative. When I have a group of guys come over for poker or relaxing on the deck I pass out these cigars(doesn’t break the bank) and everyone always ask what are they and where do I get them! 5 5 1

Partagas 1845 Gigante I picked up a bundle of these when they were on sale. After smoking the first three I was wishing I had loaded up the boat and bought 10 or 12 bundles. This is a nice medium bodied smoke with a good flavor profile all the way to the nub. Partagas 1845 Gigante Not a bad cigar. Earthy and peppery but fairly one dimensional in flavor. Construction is good and it burns evenly with a good toasting. Easy draw...maybe too easy. This is my first experience with JR branded Cigars. Ring size was supposed to be a 60 (my preference) but my cutter says otherwise...more like a 54. Decent value so keep that in mind as you set your expectations. 4 5 1

A tiny bit of heat at the nub, but then again I use a knife point to smoke my cigars all the way down. Otherwise, great construction, great burn, and great flavor that runs true to the original. A good way to lower your average cigar cost if you smoke these (I am a one stick a day smoker) a few times a week. The Coors Light of cigars. Partagas 1845 Gigante I purchased 1845, and was surprised how well they smoke! The flavor is good! My favorite stick is the MonteCrisco #2 which I love. But I’ve only smoke 3 of the 1845. The construction is excellent and the draw is excellent also. This cigar is over a hour to burn, I think they will vastly improve with time in the humidor. The burn was perfect. I have no complaints about this 1845. Job well done JR 5 5 1

Partagas 1845 Gigante Wasn't sure about the 60 ring Guage usually smoked 50 then went to 54 ring Guage. Now 60 will be my go smoke. These Partagas 1845 are dynamite. Flavor is awesome with plenty of smoke. It will last well over an hour. No tunneling, very smooth smoke. Will always have in my humidor. JR Alternative comes thru again. 5 5 1
