Saint Luis Rey Prominente The cigar was OK but when you order 6x52 and receive 5x50 it is unsettling to say the least. If I had back-up cigars I would not be writing this review as I would have sent them back! 3 5 1
Saint Luis Rey Prominente A well made and consistently good burning smoke. It's aroma for those around you I found to be pleasant. It's the kind of cigar non-cigar smokers won't hate. As in the around.a isn't overpowering. The biggest drawback for me was the flavor. Rather flat and really nothing there. 4 5 1

Saint Luis Rey Prominente we all have different taste, for mine these are outstanding! good draw, lots of smoke with minimal effort. burns evenly every time. the flavor and aforementioned are consistent. spicy on the first two inches then this stick mellows out and an intense flavor of nuttiness, creaminess and a little coffee kicks in with it being so smooth you can retro hale the entire puff with no burn in the nose. these cigars remind me of the AJ Fernandez new world or dias de gloria. the exact flavors you would expect out of a premium cigar from Nicaragua. not sure how "cuban" these are in comparison but theyre worth every dollar!!! 5 5 1

Saint Luis Rey Prominente Upon first lighting the cigar it had an irregular burn. As the ash grew I noticed a fracture in the center making the ash weak. Once past the fracture the cigar burned evenly until I reached the bottom third and once again a fracture appeared in the ash. As with most JR Alternative I've smoked they lack consistency with the roll. Aside from that the cigar had a good draw with a mellow and sweet flavor. If you looking for a well balanced everyday smoke that doesn'tbreak the bank, this could be the one. 3 5 1
