Montecristo DR Robusto This has moved to the top of my Least Favorite Cigar list. Burns one-sided won't stay lit difficult draw and to call it a Montecristo is a slur against the real thing. Save your money and buy JR Alternative Perdomo Reserve R. It's everything this cigar isn't. 2 5 1

Montecristo DR Robusto I usually smoke the Montecristo B JR Alternative. I bought these because they were on sale. They are difficult to light. They burn from the inside out sometimes a half an inch or more down the stick; and they leave you covered with ash. The quality is nowhere close to other JR Alternatives. 2 5 1
Montecristo DR Robusto Poorly and loosely wrapped with a bitter aftertaste. With all the positive reviews I thought this would be an enjoyable smoke. If this is an alternative to a real Montecristo then Montecristos quality would have to be horrible (which is not the case). Hope I can give them away without being embarrassed. Montecristo DR Robusto I ordered a bundle of the JR Alternative Montecristo DR Robusto. Frankly, they didn't really remind me of a Montecristo, but they did remind me a bit of a Casa Torano. Regardless, this was a good smoke, burned even and was smooth and tasty. I'm glad I bought a bundle. 4 5 1
Montecristo DR Robusto I bought a bundle of these cigars, and thought they were a good smoke. However, I think they are better than that and in my opinion beat out the Cohiba Blue I bought. When smoking a Cohiba Blue then following up with a JR Alternative Montecristo DR Robusto, it just tastes better, smokes better, and suits me perfectly. Out of the bundle of 20, I never had a bad cigar, and they were very consistent - I like that. I recently ordered another box of Cohiba Blue a week ago, but after they are gone I'm sticking with the JR Alternative Montecristo DR Robusto for my daily go-to. Thanks JR! 5 5 1

Montecristo DR Robusto I am very pleased with this JR alternative. This is the second order of them and can say they will be ordered again. they have a good draw that is mostly consistent, the flavor is also close to the real ones and consistent as well. They burn evenly and have only had 1 out of 40 so far that needed re-lit. Very pleased and think they are one of the best bang for the buck deals here. 4 5 1
