Belicoso Habano Big fat cigars are usually a novelty a status joke. Big and fat it is but a good smoke it is not. It is okay if you just need something in your mouth while imbibing. Flavor requires a more expensive stick in which this is and overpriced. Prior reviews state that it is dried out and EXPLODES after a few puffs. I have restored them by humidifying them for a long period of time but still no FLAVOR! If you want to be the life of the party smoke and hand them out but if you want a good smoke try another brand. Five stars for novelty. Five stars for status. Two stars for flavor. One Star for value. 2.5 out of 5 stars. 3 5 1
Belicoso Habano I'm not sure these cigars are consistently fragile or were poorly stored prior to delivery but every wrapper to this point has disintegrated during the smoking process. About 1/2 to 3/4 of the way the wrapper begins to crack due to its dry condition. 3 5 1
Belicoso Habano I've had this cigar several times and didn't find the wrapper to unravel, I may have been one of few but I've had several and they were very nice. The first one I over cut so it smoked quickly and the flavor was incredible with the large cut on the shoulders. I didn't intend to cut it so high on the shoulders but after I had that one I wanted it again. The second time I cut it just right and enjoyed it a lot longer because it didn't burn so fast. Not trying to oversell this Cigar, I do believe it's price may be a little eager and there are so many other cigars that I've enjoyed more, but I'd buy this cigar over and over again and wouldn't mind having one right now. It's definitely one I'd like to keep in my Humidor or share with a friend. Actually can't wait to get one and cut it high again. 4 5 1
Belicoso Habano I had heard such great things about this cigar. I am very disappointed with the box I purchased. As a once in a while smoke they are taking up space in my humidor. Not worth the price. 2 5 1
Belicoso Habano First, seems I'm unique among most cigar folks in my love of BIG sticks. I'm also in the minority here, perhaps I'm just fortunate with the boxes I have purchased. I've had a few that were duds, but of the 47 I have smoked, only 3 were fraught with construction issues. We all have different tastes as well and I quite enjoy the flavor profile of this stick. I use a straight cut and go quite deep on the shoulder which provides a good draw and a typical 2 1/2 hour burn time. I'll also add that I like let my cigars rest a minimum of a month before I enjoy them. Plus I always wait for the great discounts from jrcigars to buy these. Overall I love these. My $.02 worth. 5 5 1
