Toro Especial Only around 3 of the smokes in the box did not come apart as I smoked them. Of the others most were bitter drawing excess air and with no visible beetle holes in the wrappers. This could not have been a storage issue on my part as I've been storing and smoking cigars for decades without ever having had such a bad experience. This said I would order more if I could be assured that most all of the box were as good as the few about which I had no complaint. 1 5 1
Toro Especial The Herrera esteli blend is outstanding. This was one of the first De cigars I smoked that I absolutely fell in love with. Nice Woody's oak caramel coffee espresso notes with a hint of sweetness and of course excellent construction. 4 5 1
Toro Especial Willy Herrera is Drew Estate master blender for a reason. This is just one of the cigars that he's involved with. It's a nice med to full flavored. Just a great cigar. 4 5 1
Toro Especial Toro Especial is perfect for when you have got a solid 1:30-1:45 minutes to sit back kick up your feet and enjoy an excellent cigar. Flavors of nuts caramel cream and cocoa smack your palate when smoking this one. 4 5 1

Toro Especial I don't think the flavor was for me. Just plain tobacco hay flavor to me. Burn was a little wonky. Draw was loose. 4 5 1
Toro Especial I bought a box of 25 and every single one that I attempted to smoke cracked and came apart. No they weren't dry. They came apart regardless of the cutter I used. I've smoked about eight of them and the rest are going in the garbage. 1 5 1
Toro Especial This was a right on point with what tasted like white pepper to start it off. Burn was good and the draw was perfect. Nice smooth wrapper and good feel to the stick 3 5 1

Toro Especial I've been smoking these for a while now and just loved them, a toasty, creamy sort of taste, volumes of smoke, perfect draw but these last ones have a chemical, overly mineral finish that just goes wrong. Maybe age will help as it has with other Herrera cigars but.... I'll repost if things change. 3 5 1
Toro Especial Well, it's six months later. They got better. Not nearly what they were, on my opinion a perfect cigar. The draw, especially with such a packed roll, is superb, just the smallest resistance. The burn is near razor sharp and always self correcting it it goes away but the flavor had a serious mineral, paint solvent flavor that was quite off putting. I have had other cigars where such a stand out taste eventually faded into the background and contributed to a nice blend of tastes. Well, this, after half a year got better but still, the mineral, aluminum, gasoline sort of taste still lingers. These were so good that I will keep buying five packs in hope it will go back to the way they were. . . . for a while at least. I suggest you skip it for a bit. 4 5 1
