Toro Never DISAPPOINTED! Always my to go to choice of cigar especially for the price when you dont want to spend a lot 5 5 1
Toro Great cigars with a good flavor and easy draw. Jr's shipping was quick and packaged well. 4 5 1
Toro The Henry Clay line is one of my top two cigars not just for regular enjoyment but for special occasions as well. Solid feel never a bad wrap and lush smoke. Do not confuse with the new stalk cut line- stay with the original. 5 5 1
Toro I've enjoyed many of the clay lineup and find this to be a great smoke. Well constructed and what a great price with JR. 4 5 1
Toro Nice mild smoke great with a bourbon Even burn slow burn and flavorful great price 4 5 1
Toro Great smoke and priced just right! 5 5 1
Toro Not a bad smoke but this length and ring size is too big for me I prefer the Henry Clay 'Breva Conserva · 5.62 × 46 HCBC5' which I'll stick with. Nothing wrong with this 'Toro · 6 × 48' just prefer a smaller size Henry Clay. 4 5 1
Toro This cigar is rich and flavorful every time.. No fancy band or marketing extravaganza just a slow even burning cigar that stands out as one that delivers flavor well above its price range.. You won't be disappointed.. 5 5 1
Toro As usual Henry Clay does not disappoint. Solid construction with great flavor. I strongly recommend for those BOTL/SOTL who want quality that won't break the bank. This gem is hard to find but is a must buy if you can locate them at your local shop. If not JR has a great selection with even better price point. 4 5 1
Toro I bought a bundle of ten of these cigars from JR. I have smoked Henry Clay cigars off and on for many years. They are on the more full-bodied end of the spectrum of what I enjoy. They have a very nice Maduro wrapper and I like the box-pressed packaging shape. The cigar has a very plain and simple band as compared to many other brands but it is a quality cigar. They are a little more hard to draw than other cigars and you have to work to keep them lit. They are worth a try. 3 5 1
Toro Nice firm cigar good construction but the draw is a bit weak. A lot of tobacco flavor with a little spice and not bitter until the tail end. Good bang for the bucks. 4 5 1
Toro A classic cigar that never disappoints! 4 5 1
Toro What happens to so many cigar brands has happened to Henry Clay Dominicans: after 20 years of being excellent cigars, they have taken a serious turn for the worse. Gone is the rich smooth delicious taste. The flavor is grassy and nasty. They now taste like a budget bundled Honduran or Nicaraguan cigar. The wrappers look more like a rosado than a maduro. The Dominicans are not getting mixed up with the Hondurans, as the cigars are packed in their respective countries. I am very unhappy about this turn of events. It's not just one size, or one seller either, as I've tried three sizes, both 5-packs and boxes, and bought them from a couple other sources too, and the new ones are all the same. They are so poor that I have tossed them all in the trash, rather than go through the discouragement of trying to smoke them. Another favorite brand of mine goes the way of Jose Marti, Royal Jamaica, and Montecruz: down the crapper. 2 5 1
Toro submitted bid for two 5packs. notified of winning bid and charge of $34. when checking out was billed for one 5pack and charged $17. Tried calling customer service. No one ever answered or called back. 1 5 1
Toro Good but not the best Henry Clay I've had. Worth picking up however if you get a good bargain. 3 5 1
Toro Easy draw with good construction. Great flavors and pleasant smell. Burn wasn’t always consistent. 4 5 1
Toro I found these about 8 years ago, and since have not been without in my humidor, although not the prettiest it is a very rich, full/medium body smoke, the construction is very consistent, good draw, and the cigar is well made, for me a very relaxing cigar. I will definitely buy again. 5 5 1
Toro Recently received Henry Clay cigars. For a fairly expensive cigar, it was terrible. Hard to light, burn unevenly and go out frequently. Probably the worst cigar I have gotten from JR. 1 5 1
Toro Won these in an auction. Not sure what to expect but wanted to try them. I have to say they are a good cigar. They make a good everyday cigar. The draw was great, nice even burn and avoid flavor with a little pepper towards the end. 4 5 1
Toro I recently tried a five pack of Henry Clay Toros. Haven’t been smoking these for quite a few years now, but they used to be one of my favorites. The first two out of the five pack had a channel, uneven burn, almost non-smokable. I don’t know what has happened to the construction that used to be standard on good quality cigars.Right now I’m keeping away from Upmann’s and Clays and anything else put out by Altadis company. 2 5 1
Toro Just came off a cruise and brought one of these with me! Not so good! I’m sure happy I had other cigars to smoke! Taste I disliked most! 3 5 1
Toro I got this one in a sampler pack. I'm glad I was able to try it our before investing in this horrible tasting cigar! It was just horrible tasting like burnt hay or just some cheap .50 gas station brand. I'm really surprised it came in such a great sampler pack! I would definitely NOT ever recommend this cigar. 1 5 1
Toro Hard to believe these don't have a higher rating . Excellent Cubanesque cigar that I feel is a straight full bodied smoke . Not for lightweights , but very satisfying ! 5 5 1
Toro Chocked full of flavor. Never disappoints. My favorite go to cigar. 5 5 1
Toro Every once in a while I go back and try a cigar that has gone downhill in quality, and see if it has gotten back to being good. Henry Clay was once a fine cigar, but years ago it went downhill badly, and still has not recovered. Don't bother with these, they are awful. I see that there are now only two sizes available, and those in 5-packs, so I guess they're just flushing out the last of them before they are gone forever. Crying shame, for this was once a superb cigar, a full-bodied Dominican of which there are not very many. 2 5 1
Toro Excellent taste and draw. Burns evenly with slight peppery taste. i will be ordering more of these. 5 5 1
Toro unimpressive all around 3 5 1
