Received today and lit one up; be prepared to remove several wrappers…. Beautiful cigar, deep red wrapper and easy draw; I would say medium strength and has that Nicaraguan flavor although not overpowering. I generally like AJ’s work and this one is one dang good cigar. Put them in the humidor I rest them for a few weeks.

Nice medium bodied cigar. First one out of the box had uneven burn the first 2/3. Great draw and flavor. I'll try another after they age a little.

Just rcvd my first order, and upon opening the cheap wrapper, discovered Boveda 69% hard as a brick. I sure hope this doesn’t happen again, I wanted to try one today.. I cannot go any further with this comments since I will have to put t in humidor and hope they are not all bad.

Let me start by saying I am. Great fan of AJ’s work, however, upon rcvg his Toro line, with a boveda brick upon opening, and the first one unraveling, they were put into an 84% boveda environment. Today my assessment is not good. I compare this cigar to Upman, which I will absolutely not smoke. There is no flavor to either cigar. His New World offering is twice the flavor as well as his Nicaraguan Overrun line. I do not recommend this Havoc to anyone unless you enjoy a flavorless cigar. I smoke half this Havoc and had to put it in the trash. Sorry, AJ, you have produced a loser in my book, perhaps you should smoke one these and find out for yourself how tasteless they are. I will never buy these ever again. By the way, I smoke three to four cigars a day.

I'm a AJF fan,but the Havoc was a disappointment. Flavor was mediocre, the draw was okay, construction mediocre. I had to touch up the cigar throughout the smoke. This is not your typical well made and flavorful AJF cigar.

Let me first tell you that I am not disappointed with the cigar itself. It's a pretty good cigar. My disappointment is with the center label that tears the wrapper every time I remove it from a stick . Then it unravels halfway through the smoke.

Cigar construction was so bad there were 5 holes straight down the the cigar. How is this new "great" cigar have this bad of quality control?

I’m a big fan of AJ Fernandez but the construction is horrible on this one. I’ve smoked 3 out of the 11 and all the wrappers have unraveled in the first third. Part of this could be from the bands and how they are glued to the wrapper instead of themselves. Removing the bands semi-destroys the cigar before even lighting. The blend seems okay but I haven’t been able to get past halfway to determine the whole experience. Flavor and strength seems to be more on the medium side. Don’t think I’ll purchase more, but will let a handful sit in my humidor for 6 months and reevaluate.

Smoked my 1st Havoc...descent draw, good taste. However, the warper cracked as well as the cap. Not a repurchase for me.

These gars had a good taste but construction quality not very good. They burnout and need relighting which does not last more than a draw or two. I won’t re order these there are better gars at this price

Worst AJ cigar I have ever had. Terrible construction, chalky and bland. JR should pull these and not sully their other private labels (or AJ's good name) with this blend.

Got in a sampler.
Had two holes running through the middle.
Draw was terrible and the flavor very plain. Had a little citrus to it which was welcome but other than that, just kinda blah.

Not a lot of flavor until the end. No butane adjustments needed though. Not a bad cigar, Just a bit weak. I'd describe this cigar more like a mild to medium strength.

I'm on my 3rd box of these and I've been very impressed with the quality of construction, the draw and the consistent flavor throughout (medium in strength). I've passed these out to my fellow lovers of the leaf and they loved them also. I read the very negative reviews and I'm not disputing their findings; however, I've never had a bad stick from these three boxes. I would urge everyone, who is an AJ Fernandez fan, to give tem a try.

Loose, but with a very consistent draw. Flavor is very boring, if you can find any.

After reading all of the bad reviews, I feel blessed that my HAVOC was Excellent. Had it in my humi then crossed it over into a Tupperdor with a 69 Boveda and a stack of other AJF’s. Long story short, the Havoc stayed untouched for about a year and rearranged several times. Picked up another Havoc in the 10ct Sampler of other AJF’s and decided to smoke the one I’ve been holding. It was as usual - the mastery of AJF and it was perfect burn with a gray/silver sturdy ash and symmetrical coinage. Sweet retrohale that didn’t cause a flood of tears. Smooth silky smoke and some slight nuances through each third, with the last third very characteristic of AJF and rich bold flavor with a creamy aftertaste.
Hopefully I’ll be able to add to my stash more of these and not wait another year to burn this one.

Havoc by AJ Fernandez
Toro
6.50 × 52
HAVT
Havoc by AJ Fernandez Toro cigars are Nicaraguan puros produced by one of the most talented and highly successful cigarmakers in the modern era. Made exclusively for JR Cigar, this heftly rolled 6.5 x 52 Toro utilizes the highest-quality Nicaraguan tobacco leaves grown on AJ’s family estates throughout the country. The end result is a medium-to-full bodied smoke oozing with delicious flavors of earth, leather, spice, cinnamon, and dark roast coffee. This is the first cigar on the market to be packaged in boxes of 11. Why you ask? Because being a history buff, Fernandez is fascinated with the Gladiator era that dates back many thousands of years. Legend has it that if a gladiator was able to survive and win 11 fights he would get to retire to a life of opulence and luxury. Therefore the 11th cigar in the box was made to symbolize Havoc Robusto’s luxurious flavors and captivating aroma. Whether you are a weekend cigar warrior, or a daily smoker, buy a box of Havoc Toro cigars today and enjoy a decadent smoking experience that’s nothing short of remarkable.
