Currency I don't know how this flavor profile is supposed to fit into the H. Upmann family but it doesn't. I find the taste of the one I tried to be revolting. It's a leathery/soapy taste that reminds me of cheap bundled Nicaraguans. If you like that sort of thing enjoy! But I tossed the other 4 in the trash. Construction and burn were fine but that's small consolation for such an abysmally bad taste. 2 5 1

Currency I absolutely love the Banker. It is beyond a doubt my favorite H. Upmann. The flavors are great. Light cocoa and coffee with hints of a sweet cream and cedar notes. Great construction and burn. Only down side is sometimes the double band and sleeve are a bit hard to take off. 5 5 1

I finally lit one up tonight after being in my humidor for a month. Had it with a glass of scotch and was not disappointed. I'm not the best at lighting but the draw was nice and it had an even burn. Nice construction with the wrapper no tearing or patches on it. Pleasant from beginning to end and can't wait to enjoy another!! 4 5 1

Currency I head a lot about the Banker on G+ and a lot of people really liked them. So I had to at least get a 5 pack sampler for myself to try. I have never been a fan of Upmann regular line. For close to 27 years I always found them to be a dud. As of the last 10 or so years they really pushed this brand and introduced new sub lines and they have been really good. The banker is no different more robust quite a bit of flavor. I have to say that I really like it. Excellent job! 4 5 1

Currency Received 2 of these from a sampler pack I ordered a few weeks back. Took a little time out today to lie up one. This is some kind of good smoke. From the lite the draw is easy and smooth. It burns consistency with a firm ash. And to top it off it has pretty flavor with a lot of smoke. 4 5 1

Currency The H upmann banker is not for the faint of heart. The first 25% is straight up pepper very intense then it gives way to lighter spices and leather about half way through. 3 5 1

Currency H. Upman currency I really like this stick I think it is a underrated cigar. It is extremely smooth and creamy cigar. It smokes great and gets better and better everyday that it ages in humidor. It doesn't burst out with a bundle of complex flavors but a mild nice leathery and creamy smoke that gets better till you get to the band. I really like how they dressed this cigar It looks very elegant. I would probably buy more at a lower price cause there are lots of choices for this price range a lot that are better but alot that isn't. I usually don't mind to buy when on sale and I occasionally buy a single at local cigar shop but at full price I usually go to something else but is definitely a worthy cigar to try. 4 5 1
Currency I am an Upmann fan however this cigar left me a little disappointed. Maybe I had to high hopes going into it but it taste like a big cigarette. Also it started falling apart in mid smoke. 3 5 1

Currency I've smoked two of these out of a five pack and I must say I'm not impressed. The first one was quite under filled and it got very soft and spongy under the heat of smoking. This is definitely not a humidor issue. A wide variety of other cigars live in the same humi and they smoke great. The second one was better filled but still under filled. It also softened when smoked but not too badly. There was some spice to the flavor of both sticks but not much depth or richness. Not bad mind you but certainly nothing special. 1 5 1

Currency I am not the professional cigar “review writer guy”, I am however the guy that smokes cigars regularly. I won’t give you the “tastes of earth and leather” guy either because my palate changes all the time. Sometimes I want this and sometimes I want that. Now, with that being said this cigar is my go to. It has a good medium strength and a good consistent flavor. You won’t go wrong buying several to have on hand for any occasion. They are a fine cigar and can you can be proud to have them, they are not over priced so you can keep a few on hand for any occasion. 5 5 1

Currency No wonder they were on sale for $19.99. Several were damaged post production with a knife slice, making them impossible to draw. I had to wrap a piece of paper around the cigar to block the air leak from the knife slice. Not a good experience! 3 5 1
