Lonsdale This cigar has a beautiful flawless wrapper and gives off very nice room aroma. The flavors were complex and very enjoyable. The draw was too loose for my liking and the burn line liked to run requiring several touch-up but I've only smoked one so can't say if these issues are typical or not. Overall a really good smoke for the price. 3 5 1
Lonsdale The h. Uppmann golden Nicaraguan Lonsdale is a great one I love Lonsdales and I real dig this cigar it looks and feels great nice smooth flavors I aged it for a couple mouths it was great 4 5 1
Lonsdale Very frustrated with this cigar. It takes all I have to get a draw off this cigar. I thought maybe it was the first one I tried but they all are no good. I have to kill myself just to get a draw off this thing. 2 5 1
Lonsdale I gave these more time in the humidor (everything else in there smokes wonderfully) but these cigars are one of the most frustrating things I have ever tried. Like Larry said - cannot keep them lit. You can get a good red fire going and watch it go out in less than a minute. I swear these were sprayed with fire retardant. The remaining cigars I have will end up in the trash as it is just too much of a hassle and bad for my attitude. 1 5 1
Lonsdale For those of you who love a good smooth cigar. This is it. Tons of wonderful flavor smooth draw great even burn and holds an ash for awhile. I would recommend it to others. 5 5 1
Lonsdale Got 5 in a sampler. Marketed as full bodied but tasted like a medium. Two were excellent two were good one was quite bitter not pleasant at all. Construction was good and draw was very nice with a decent amount of smoke. However until the flavor profile is more consistent I'll leave these alone. 3 5 1
Lonsdale Did not like it. Flavor is OK but I couldn't get it to smoke down evenly to the end. At about half-way the cigar petered out and had to be lit again and again. With virtually every one in the box. 2 5 1

Lonsdale This one is truly Golden. Wonderful rich milk chocolate with a hint of caramel. Nice even slow burn with lots of thick aromatic smoke. 5 5 1
Lonsdale This cigar was just entirely too big to get the full effect. Draw was way too rough and didn't get a lot of flavor from it. Shorter version would be nice 3 5 1
Lonsdale The now-ubiquitous leather and cocoa-type flavor is marred by a metallic or soapy off-flavor cloying on the palate. I enjoyed the first half of all five of them but never finished one. H. Upmann can do better. 3 5 1

Lonsdale Medium bodied well balanced beautiful very tasty and a pain in the @$$ to smoke. The wrapper dos not permit this cigar to burn very evenly at all. If you love a great tasting cigar that you continually have to touch up so that you don't make canoes then this is the one for you. 3 5 1
Lonsdale This is one of the best cigars I've ever had. I think that it rates up there with Ashton, Aroma de Cuba and other highly regarded cigars. I love it smooth draw, hints of honey and richness. This one is a world class stick. 5 5 1
Lonsdale While I tasted tones of toasted coconut and spice this cigar lost its appeal as the wrapper unraveled and the draw grew hard. 3 5 1
Lonsdale I usually am very happy with H Upmann cigars but these are a total disappointment. Tried smoking 5 out of a box of 14 - inconsistent draw can't keep them lit. You have to smoke these with a lighter in one hand. Not exaggerating to say they need to be relit constantly. In frustration had to dispose of each before 1/2 way through. Maybe even more time in the humidor will help but I am not optimistic. If anyone from JR reads these reviews they should offer to buy the remainder back. 1 5 1
