Toro Prelight smell is sweet like toffee with some mild white pepper and leather. Once lit this is a delicious mild to medium cigar with creamy flavors of nuts, caramel, whipped cream, graham cracker, snickerdoodle, and marzipan. Some spice on the retrohale and a dry leather finish with lingering sweetness at times. If you enjoy a delicious connecticut wrapper that burns perfectly, this is a great choice! I smoked the Toro but would like to see how the robusto performs, to perhaps raise the wrapper notes to a solid medium. 5 5 1
Toro I just received a box of these 1844 Classic Toros. They arrived a bit dry, but I decided to try one right away. Even right out of the box it was very good. After some time in the humidor, these should be very good. Try them if you like a milder to medium cigar. I can’t accurately rate consistency yet, but the construction is excellent, so I expect consistency will be too. 4 5 1

Toro My first premium cigar was H Upman 30 years ago. This cigar brings back great memories. This is an amazing cigar. Sweet tobacco flavors, nuts and leather. Fine white ash with a great slow burn with plenty of smoke. 5 5 1
Toro I got this fine cigar as part of a sampler It was easily impressive as it rolled around in my fingers. It's construction was excellent and that excellence was further proven after it was lit. The burn was smooth and even and the draw on point. This is a top shelf cigar that I would buy if the price wasn't so steep. Great cigar but not a value! 5 5 1
