Robusto This has been one of my favorites for years going back to when they came out of Dominacin Republic. I believe the current more expensive product is not as good. I do not like the present paper covers. It is only an extraction and a pain to get ride of it. Altadis has not marketed this cigar with an eye to the customer. 3 5 1
Robusto Foot smells of hay and brownies. Dry draw tastes of browny and cocoa powder, slightly spicy, with sweet taste on the tongue. Very easy draw. First third is very mild, inch in cocoa start to emerge, with nutty -slightly buttered bread- body. Great aroma. 2nd half takes on my spicy clove and pepper that rounds out the cocoa powder. Mild body that is somewhat underwhelming. Construction is passable, wrapper was a little rough in spots. . All the paper wrapping feels/looks cheap and diminishes the appeal. 3 5 1

Robusto Smooth enough for beginners and tasty for aficionados. A good tasty cigar. Good draw. Burn a little uneven but no touch up required. Lots of flavor. Cedar and a nice tobacco with a spice and just a tiny tingle of pepper. Medium to full body but stays smooth and cool down to a nub. I got 5 of these robusto in a terrific sampler deal by JR and I saved 10 dollars with a prize by playing JR Beat The Dealer. A good deal and a good cigar. Try them. 4 5 1

Robusto An excellent daily smoke when time is at a premium and a Churchill is just too long. Ashes reasonably well with a medium draw and mild flavor tones. Fits well with their Churchills for a consistent experience while offering a variety of forms made a little more elegant with their updated packaging. 4 5 1
Robusto I prefer mild Dominicans. This had almost no flavor; have never had a cigar with such a light draw (light, not tight). From light to band was 21 minutes; fast burn (loose pack?), uneven burn, OK ash. 3 5 1

Robusto After having smoked half the box, which I got at 40% off I think, I have yet to find one that isn't great. The draw is full, construction and consistency are near perfect as none have burned uneven and the flavor, well, to me it is good. Not harsh or heavy. 5 5 1

Robusto I’ve been an avid cigar smoker since 1991. Yes I’m getting old. Started with Macanudo, JR Ultimates (Conn. shade wrapper), and the old La Gloria Cubanas. Then spent 2 decades enjoying the fuller blends like Padron, 601s, JR Ultimate Cabinets, Rocky Patel Sun Growns and others. Father time (and other things) has sort of tamped down my ability to enjoy the fuller bodied stuff - but not my love of cigars. So I have been on a search for mild cigars that still have flavor. This one fits the bill beautifully. Outstanding construction. Excellent burn. Mild in body/nicotine. Flavors of quality, slightly sweet, aged tobacco, nuts, and cedar. Excellent aroma. Very happy with these cigars! 5 5 1
