1958 Corona Gorda Really good smoke but a far cry from the real thing. Some burn issues and a thin cap and wrapper but still enjoyable just about anytime. 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Hands down THE best $ 2.10 stick you will ever smoke . 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda I've been smoking this brand (& other Counterfeit Cubans Belicoso Epicure etc.) for 10 yrs. and the last two boxes have been extremely disappointing. Shoddy loose construction ruins a box of 50! I won't reorder these or the Belicoso. They used to be excellent but something's changed. 1 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Flawless construction perfect draw straight burn with nice flavor. A good value. Pleasantly surprised! 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Nice smooth and creamy. Not too spicey. Good price! Great anytime and is a tad sweet. 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda I have been ordering these cigars months for years. The quality used to be great, but over the last six months the quality has definitely gone down hill. I am now throwing out about a third of the cigars. I do condition the cigars in a good humidor, but the construction has changed. They are no longer solid and have to be compressed the half the size to get any draw, (if al all), at which point, I just throw it away. Just not worth buying this these cigars anymore. 1 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Not sure how I can review this cigar. I ordered them on December 19 and have not received them. I called to check on them last week and J&R informed me that they had not shipped yet there was a problem at the warehouse and that I should be getting a note when they will be shipped. well it is Jan 8th and no email telling me they had been shipped. not sure if I will order Cigars again online. 1 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda I bought these about 5+ years ago when I was in South Korea, enjoyed them and now I buying them again. Great cigar for the price. Yes there are better cigars out there, but at three times the price. I will continue to purchase this item. 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda These cigars were a pleasant surprise. I like the aroma and they are right down the middle. Not too strong not too mild. Not a great cigar but good. I will order more as they are good for an everyday stick. The fast delivery was a pleasant surprise as well. 3 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Awesome smoke This will be one of my All Time Favorite Everyday cigars. Great flavor good consistency awesome cigar with a glass of scotch and to finish off the day. Enjoy the fruits of your labor with this cigar for sure. Only ordered the 5 pack to test will be ordering the chest of 50 to store in my humidor thank you JR Cigars. 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda I have been a customer of JR for about 28 years. I have always been pleased with the whole company. I buy from no other cigar co.. Jar is the least expensive and the widest selection. I recommend JR to everybody. I also give them the phone no# and e mail. 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda This is a good smoke! Smooth flavor and a pleasant finish make this stick a great choice. This is always a good choice 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda great cigar at a great price How can u go wrong 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda This is a full bodied smoke. It burned well with a fair draw and generated lots of smoke. This cigars is well worth the money. 3 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Great smoke! Can't go wrong with any of the genuine counterfeit Cuban cigars. I remember when they came out thinking what a brilliant concept and marketing strategy. 95% of what was being passed off as Cuban was bogus. Let's make a cigar that closely rivals any Cuban and call it counterfeit Cuban. Brilliant. Oh at a great price too! 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda It ain't Cuban but it is a pretty good cigar. Very consistent draw and flavor. 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Flawless construction excellent draw straight burn with nice ash and flavorful. Great value. 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda A great value. Burned evenly with good draw and medium strength. Better flavor than many Nicaraguans in the same price category. I smoked several and the quality appears to be consistent. 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Love these cigars! I’ve been smoking these cigars for 5 years now. 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda The name of this cigar is purposely hilarious, “genuine...counterfeit”. Like the phrase jumbo shrimp. After receiving a 5-pack of these and storing them a few weeks, I smoked one last night. The wrapping is good, pack is on the firm side, and the pre/draw a bit less free flowing than expected. Initial 1/3 impression to me was peppery but settled down. Strength was full bodied, good volume of smoke but I hit a pocket of drag restrain. Every cigar smoker should have a cigar saver because you may get one of these in every batch. Once the draw was fixed, the smoking experience was pleasurable. Burn quality was perfect, even all the way to the nub. If the other 4 from this order is just as good then I’ll order boxes going forward. So far my first impression of this smoke is excellent. By the way, the strength is pretty much full power all the way to the end so consider this as a good evening cigar. 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda This is a great daily smoke for me & at about $3 each makes them a bargain!! 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda These are not going to make you throw away your favorite Cohiba or Montecristo, but they are great as an everyday smoke. For less than $3 a stick, I've found few that compare. Flavor is good, but have run across a couple that burn unevenly. For what you're paying, they're a terrific value. 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Love this brand and cigar! 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda They may be counterfeit but had to try them for myself and they were better than expected 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda All around just a great cigar as good as any 10.00 dollar cigar a must to have in your Humidor 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Kinda yummy. Very impressed with this “counterfeit”. It tastes and burns like a cigar twice it’s price. Will buy again 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Not for me. There's a reason it is priced so low. Skip this one 1 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Not sure if it tastes like a specific Cuban but it’s delicious 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda I’m not able to say whether this cigar lives up to its name as a good representation of a pre-embargo Cuban, but this cigar is a very good cigar that smokes well, has great flavor, and provides an overall very enjoyable experience for at least an hour. Wrapper can be easily damaged with handling or cutting, so take care. 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Very good cigar. Medium body and smooth. Good construction draw and even burn. Starts off with a blast of flavor. Nicaraguan flavor profile of coffee and cocoa and nutty. Helpful hint. JR runs lots of specials ranging from 20 to 30 percent off. 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Good construction good draw long even burn with a pretty good flavor 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Very good, will definitely buy again! Highly recommended. 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Just received my latest order, I enjoy these so much; I just ordered more. I do have a question though; if these cigars are listed as Ecuadorean Sumatra why are the packages labeled Rosado? 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Smooth, delicious, perfect construction and draw... What more could you want? 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda These are GREAT! My current favorite, construction, draw flavor; all great. Thank you JR for the super fast shipping too! 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda I love it great smell 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda The Genuine Counterfeits are always a dependable good cigar. Easy draw, well constructed. Great Taste! 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Great cigar. Even burn, smell great, long smooth finish. One of my favorites. 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda I'm overall pleased with this cigar. 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Great smoke little strong 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda I know it was a cigar and I could smell the smoke not much taste. I would not recommend these to my friends! 2 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda I usually like milder or medium bodied cigars. This was a bit of a surprise. More of a full-flavored smoke! Still a really good cigar - but be prepared. Easy draw and well made. I really like that JR packs them in cedar boxes because the cigars take a moderate cedar flavor you can taste when smoking the cigar. 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Great flavor but like the JR Cohiba Behike Laguito No. 5, the draw was too tight, Using a perfect draw tool helped. Won't order again, 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Just a great all-around cigar. One of my favorites. 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Great stick just had one last night 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Let me start out with complementing the wrapper. Amber in color or slightly darker, BEAUTIFUL Presentation. What I love most is the barn yard, hay, grassy yup even manure smell. Probably in my top 5 cigars as of now. 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda A very good smoke and price for a counterfeit alternative. 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Great smoke 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Great flavor , perfect consistency 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda I throughly enjoyed the 5 pack, so I went ahead and ordered a box. 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Excellent cigars! 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda The medium-full bodied flavor stars-out rather bland, but slowly develops subtle notes of sweet spice, cocoa, & cedar. Decent construction & draw; although, the burn requires constant touch-up. Also experienced some reluctance to stay lit. The ash is gray & black, somewhat loose, & disheveled. The light brown, Ecuadoran Sumatra wrapper is smooth, seamless, & well-finished. A good-looking, budget cigar that really needs proper aging, before it’s smoke-worthy. 3 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda They have a great flavor and excellent draw. Glad I tried these. Will purchase again. 5 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda Smooth cigars not too strong for me but pretty good flavor 4 5 1
1958 Corona Gorda These are really great smokes. I have been smoking all sizes of this cigar for several years. Hopefully Jr will keep making this cigar as it is one of my favorites. Too many times I have seen Jr eliminate brands that they created that were really good cigars. 5 5 1
