Hampton
Nat Sherman Host Hampton was my favorite cigar, hands down. I've been a cigar smoker for over 20 years, smoke at least two a day on the golf course, and there was nothing I liked better; and I smoke a lot of different strength/taste/sizes/brands of cigars.
The new version is similar but slightly stronger and not as mellow. This gives it a different taste. Construction, draw, consistency, everything else is the same but I believe there is a slightly different mix of tobaccos, changing the taste slightly.
The "new" brand price is a significant increase and the box size has been reduced to 18 cigars on top of that. Also, they are listed as one of the brands that JR is not allowed to have as part of their sales.
As much as I like them, they are not 'the same' to me and are now above what I'm willing to pay.
