Blue Kuba Kuba Any nice cigar with a Sumatra wrapper is going to be good but i had reservations about infused as we did not know that word or Boutique back in the day! The wrapper was beautiful and the solid construction was quality. I expected something like an H. Hpmann but the first sweetness was interesting and mild. Got fuller and better as it burned down to the nub. And my wife passed by on the patio and commented that smells interesting- which was a first for her. Everyone should give one a try. 4 5 1

I bought a five pack to gift it to him but grabbed one to relive memories from my early smoking years. Hey I won't grab another but I finished the entire cigar down to the nub. Although the draw construction and quality of the ACID kuba kuba cigar is definitely of high merit I do not reach for this cigar often. This is a good cigar smoking beginner's stick. Blue Kuba Kuba First the good part... Kuba Kuba blue burns well and has a nice wrapper.. It also has a good draw.. Now the not so good part. It is overpoweringly sweet. In fact the only flavor I was able to detect was sweet. No nuance whatsoever. It was a more like candy than a cigar. I just don’t get the flavor. If someone is new to smoking cigars, there are much better introductory sticks that don’t overpower the smoker with sweet. 2 5 1
Blue Kuba Kuba I usually just grab an ACID blondie for the weekend. I only smoke one or 2 cigars a week. Usually soaking in the tub and relaxing. Found the blonde's didn't last long enough. only 25 min. The Kuba Kuba lasted a good hour. Could of lasted a few more min but I had to get going. The Kuba is nice good taste and consistency. Construction and flavor was nice. For a cigar smoker that only smokes one or 2 a week I am looking for a cigar that last about 1 hr. not more not less. Nice mild flavor and nice burn. Blue Kuba Kuba I love Drew Estates coffee infused products but this is widely different. First few hits were very sweet and full of flavor then mellows out a bit. Not sure why I like it but I do. Cant identify any particular flavor but it works. Great ash and smoke. Didnt want to put it out. Will keep around for the occasional special. Blue Kuba Kuba Had to get one and see what all the fuss wqs about. From the time i opened the wrapper i knew this was foing to be interesting. Very very very nauseating perfume smell. WTH???? Cut the cap and sid a cold draw. Holy heck....... now lips mouth nose everything was that perfume smell and taste!!!! Needless to say if the cold draw was that bad i didnt want to find out what the hot draw would revile. Definitely not a smoke for me. There are a lot of folks that like it but i am not one. The sweetness off the wrapper can be a bit overwhelming at points but the spice and coffee flavors in the retrohale help even everything out. 4 5 1

Blue Kuba Kuba I have had this cigar resting/aging in my humidor for almost 3 months now at a consistent 72RH. I have a flavor palette that enjoys full bodied peppery cigars but also enjoys light bodied, sweet tobacco, and between both ranges I enjoy my barnyard scents and flavors. St. Luis Rey Special Reserve and Gisperts are my favorites. Toros. When it comes to flavored cigarillos my preference are backwoods Russian Creams which are strong vanilla with a creamy flavor. I am writing all this so that someone who likes the same won't waste their time on this cigar. Maybe you can gauge your preference based on my palette. There is a lot of hype around this cigar but here is my honest review. I am happy I bought a 5pack because I do not know what to do with the other 4. The smell is very nice. It smells like someone who used to hold me when I was a baby. Old woman perfume. Very enjoyable. The after taste is great too. Those are the good things I had to say about it. At the important marks, during smoking, there were little flavor pockets. When I hit the first and second third there was a great taste. I don't know what flavor it was but it was like blue raspberry without the raspberry. Very much like an expensive piece of hard candy. In between those there was no flavor. Just bitterness. I thought I probably let the cherry get too hot but no, it was straight bitter. Until you hit the flavor pockets, of which, I only found two. The smell was nice. The wrapper is too sweet. You will be licking your lips alot and the wrapper flavor when licking it from your lips is no good. Too pungent. So pungent and sweet is what the wrapper taste like on your lips. Also I was smoking this out in backyard but this smoke dominated the space. My neighbor two houses down could smell it. The draw and construction were very nice but I think I will stick to backwoods and leave these alone. I will also try storing them at a lower RH. And try again. Maybe 69RH. Normally, I do not have to do that for a cigar so please understand my disappointment. Also you really have to take your time. I would suggest a puff every 60-120 seconds. I write this review believing I got the best experience this cigar could offer. 2 5 1
Blue Kuba Kuba The cigars were great as usual but this was the secondary time I have ordered from JR cigars and I had the worst experience. I ordered 2 weeks before Christmas as a gift, when the order got here this item wasn’t in there. I called and the guy was super sweet and said he had his sup approve an overnight delivery since it was the 21st and it was a Christmas gift. Well 2 days later I got a I got an email that the order was shipped and wouldn’t be here until 12/29. I reached out via chat and the First Lady got really rude and when I asked her why I was I was promised it would be here on time and she ended our chat without saying anything. I started the chat again the next woman was also very rude and very unhelpful. Long story short I didn’t get the gift until 4 days after Christmas even though I ordered plenty in advance and the company messed up but I was the one who had to pay for their mistake. I most likely won’t be using JR cigars again. 3 5 1

Blue Kuba Kuba Didn’t know what to expect, had a very open mind. Decided I liked them after the second one. Aroma is amazing. Reminded me of clove cigarettes, spice and herbs, with hints of tobacco. Taste, first thing that grabs you is the sweet tip. It’s intense and goes away quickly, but with that first pull, it gives such delightfully pleasant flavor. This stick is full of flavors, but not what you typically get in full flavor smoke. I’m a fan! 5 5 1

Blue Kuba Kuba Wow just opening the box and I knew I was I just in for a little treat.. The sweet tip is next level, and this is beautiful because it’s hasn’t been lit yet and it’s amazing. This is a cigar I’m going to assume most non smoker would appreciate and enjoy.. When lighting it up you can smell so much more flavor than I’ve ever experienced and it’s a good thing.. the fist draw is so light creamy with new flavors I didn’t expect from a cigar. It’s got great body and I just might make this a regular enjoyment for myself. I really recommend it to all smokers who haven’t tried it yet.. And it’s burned down perfectly even all the way through..with good flavor till the end. Side note, even my non smoker wife came outside to tell me that she liked the smell much better than my other cigars. 5 5 1

The draw is very smooth whether I use a bullet or V cut, although at times it can affect the wrapper. The flavor is medium bodied and delicious.
