Pyramid #84 Maduro I've been buying Consuegra for over 16 years. I've been buying mainly cigars with Nicaraguan filler and haven't bought any Consuegra for 4 years. I got a bundle a few days ago at JR auction. They were listed as 84 but they are Maduro and the color is an exact match to my 843. They taste a lot better than my old 843; sweet and pepper. They were bought as a rotation cigar but will be put away as a special occasion cigar. Six quarters for an excellent cigar. With seconds a person never knows but this bundle was magic. 5 5 1

Pyramid #84 Maduro I purchased a bundle in November 2023 so these have been aging in my humidor for about 8-9 months. I took the cellophane off about 1 month ago and placed them in a dry box, to get them ready to smoke, and it was definitely worth the wait. Most Consuegras in my opinion needs time to rest after purchase if you have the patience. The draw was perfect and produced copious amounts of smoke, the burn was wavy in the first third but with one corrective lighting, it burned straight the rest of the way. Due to the easy draw, I would recommend you take breaks between each draw, otherwise it would burn too hot and become bitter. I have been smoking these for more than 25 years and they never disappoint. The cigar is not overly complex with no major transitions between thirds, but that's fine with me, sometimes I just want to enjoy a flavorful cigar and not have to overthink it. Excellent value, and with a bit of patience, this cigar will compete with cigars 4 or 5 times its price. 5 5 1
