I was not and am not happy with the substitution because I did not get what I ordered! THE RATING IS NOT REALLY VALID SINCE I DIDN'T GET THE CIGARS !! 1 5 1

V554 Camshaft If you like a delicious medium to full strength smoke that's perfectly constructed in a dark oily Maduro wrapper I would highly recommend the CAO Flathead. Consistently fantastic! Comes in a cool box too! 5 5 1
V554 Camshaft I forgot how good this one is. I got a 5-pack during a sale and I had to try one immediately. I bought them to put in my “good” humidor box where I save them for some special occasion but it will be hard to keep from dipping into there. For a medium to full-bodied cigar it is surprisingly smooth but still bold. I taste chocolate and spice in there but I haven’t identified the rest of the flavors yet. The ashes stay on for a very long time and it is well packed. It has a firm draw without being unpleasant. I know everyone’s taste is different but for me this is a delicacy of a smoke and is in my top 10 for sure. Maybe top five. 5 5 1

V554 Camshaft I adore the Flathead line. Personal fave is the 660, as it seems to last forever. The 770 is just s bit too big for my tastes. The 554 is an awesome, more subtle version of the 660. Still slow-burning and long lasting, but with a somewhat tighter and more focused taste and smoke output. All the regular Flatheads have a severe box press shape, which I have grown to love. They are perfect for a punch cut. High pleasure, and high value too. Rick Rodriguez has nailed it here! 5 5 1

V554 Camshaft Really been enjoying these. Got a 5 pack to try them out and they’ve become my newest favorite after looking for something cheaper than what I was smoking daily. Wrapper is nice and oily the way I like it. Work great for a punch cut, which is very convenient for traveling since my punch is already on my keychain and a few of my lighters. Taste is outstanding with some really nice chocolate flavors throughout. Smoke is nice and thick and I actually really like the squareness of the box press as it holds well in the hand and gives nice good surface area to hold with my mouth so I can still use my hands while doing things around the yard/garage. Haven’t pulled the trigger on a box yet, but will definitely do so when I deplete my stash a little. 5 5 1

V554 Camshaft Very sorry to report but my absolute favorite cigar of all time (Flatheadl) have since dropped to the point that I may need to find a new cigar...not happy. Since last year when they reached #2 on Cigar Aficionado the rush on them spiked and the cigar has fallen. I get about 3 or 4 out of every box of 24 that have burn problems such as the center of the cigar has a hole like a chimney and it burns like a hot fire. I have complained to JR Cigar a few times and it was like talking to my cat...nothing! 2 5 1

V554 Camshaft My friend and I went to a cigar lounge and we both pick this one up as a single. We came straight out of humidor and sat there with our cigars. He clipped his end off I hole punched mine. I had a good draw his was a little off. We both had to relight in the 1st third and again in the 2nd third. We both like a bold cigar and this seemed to fit. Good construction. Both had a one side favoritism burn so played catch up from halfway through the first to halfway through the 2nd third. Spicy on the last third. My friend didn't get to his last third it died again. I got two puffs into last third and it went out also. Good construction no peeling cracks or stems poking out. Paid $8.50. Can't say I would by this again. Both enjoyed the 660 though. That's why we gave the 554 a try. 3 5 1
