Rothchilde I am not a fan of the white series perspnally. The few I've smoked had wide open draws that were hard to control with the burn causing the cigar to heat up super fast even with slow puffs. I'd be willing to bet this is an excellent early day cigar if the draw was tightened up a little 2 5 1

Rothchilde Came with some damage- Two had tears in the outer wrapper and one had a pin hole through the higher band and cigar. They were also all flat on one size. I called customer service and they were shipping out a replacement within 5 minutes. They had to ship me a different size so I'm assuming I got the last 5 pack due to the quality. Little annoying having to wait a few more days but great service making it right for the customer. My favorite cigar and love catching auction deals. 5 5 1

Rothchilde Have had these guys several times. No construction issues but sometimes the draw can be difficult. Make sure you keep them in your humi for a few weeks and they seem to do fine after that. Nice mild to medium flavor hint of pepper and very creamy smoke. Solid stick for any time of the day. 3 5 1

Rothchilde Do NOT buy these at auction. I made the mistake of buying around 60 of them over the course of 3 months at auction I couldn't resist the good price. When I received them I just put them in my humidor to age a coupe months and have just started smoking them. (or trying to) These Montecristo White Series are different than the ones you buy at the local cigar shop. The labels say bulk on them and when you smoke them they are plugged with toothpick diameter stems and the wrappers crack and fall apart. These are some of the worst cigars I have ever smoked. I literally just threw one away only 2 into the cigar. The flavor is right the construction is horrible. I gave a couple to friends (cigar shop owners and a local cigar distributor) and they all were amazed at how bad they are. Some of them cringe when I talk about these. I spoke to a Montecristo distributor about it and he said that these should not be sold on the market. They are promo cigars that the distributors give away at events. They're not necessarily seconds but they're cigars that were never meant to be sold. Seriously these cigars are so bad that I can't give them away unless they don't know what they're getting. Buy boxes of these cigars and you're fine . Stay away from the auction. I'm stuck with these. I called JR and they told me that I'm outside the return period so I can not get credit for them. To be clear the ones at auction are not counterfeit or seconds. They are promo cigars that are not up to the normal Montecristo quality. The blend flavor and taste are the real thing. The quality is horrible. It WILL fall apart on you and be a very difficult draw. 2 5 1

Rothchilde Got a 5 pack at auction - smoked one upon arrival. Fresh out of the packaging it was in good shape had a good draw smoked evenly but the flavor was nearly non-existant. A week later the next one I smoked had the exact same characteristics. I’ll try again after at least a month in storage and will hopefully have an updated review. 3 5 1

They start with some pepper and citrus then the middle third features cream and tobacco earthiness. This is a medium to full bodied smoke but if i rush the final third I will feel it. 4 5 1

Rothchilde This is my overall favorite smoke by far. It's one of the few smokes that's great any time of the day. There's a bit more body for the seasoned smoker yet it's mild enough for the beginner. I love it with coffee a milk stout ale red wine or brandy. Rothchilde Montecristo cigars have one thing going for them they are consistently good. I do think they are overpriced though. This cigar was given to me by a friend so I didn't pay anything. It had decent Montecristo flavor and good airways. It burned a little uneven but I actually don't care too much about that so long as it doesn't effect the airflow which it didn't. Overall I'd pay a few bucks for this cigar but not the $10 that I've seen some places. 4 5 1

This is a cigar that needs to be pampered so take your time with it it likes to be smiked on the cooler side. The cigar had a hint of sweetness as I lit it up and not being a fan flavored cigars I was a little taken aback at first. The first inch of the cigar would not burn straight. A really great cigar for the milder to medium smoker. This cigar is a little too mild for me but I am sure Monte Cristo makes a cigar with more kick that I would love. I don't smoke a lot of Monte Cristo's because of the high price tag. The cigar kept it's Milder character throughout and was very consistent after the first inch. 4 5 1

Rothchilde Do NOT buy these at auction. I made the mistake of buying around 60 of them over the course of 3 months at auction I couldn't resist the good price. When I received them I just put them in my humidor to age a coupe months and have just started smoking them. (or trying to) These Montecristo White Series are different than the ones you buy at the local cigar shop. The labels say bulk on them and when you smoke them they are plugged with toothpick diameter stems and the wrappers crack and fall apart. These are some of the worst cigars I have ever smoked. I literally just threw one away only 2 into the cigar. The flavor is right the construction is horrible. I gave a couple to friends (cigar shop owners and a local cigar distributor) and they all were amazed at how bad they are. Some of them cringe when I talk about these. I spoke to a Montecristo distributor about it and he said that these should not be sold on the market. They are promo cigars that the distributors give away at events. They're not necessarily seconds but they're cigars that were never meant to be sold. Seriously these cigars are so bad that I can't give them away unless they don't know what they're getting. Buy boxes of these cigars and you're fine . Stay away from the auction. I'm stuck with these. I called JR and they told me that I'm outside the return period so I can not get credit for them. To be clear the ones at auction are not counterfeit or seconds. They are promo cigars that are not up to the normal Montecristo quality. The blend flavor and taste are the real thing. The quality is horrible. It WILL fall apart on you and be a very difficult draw. 2 5 1

Despite my uneven light due to low fluid in my lighter the burn straightened itself out was just about razor sharp within an inch of smoking. It kept at least two inches of ash before I felt like I should probably tap it off though it probably could've lasted longer than that. omfe the flavor smoothed out from the tip it kept a consistent flavor throughout again really good flavor. Rothchilde I acquired a 5-pack of these White Series rothchildes as a part of the JR's "Monte-Romeo" bonus buy. These rothchilde size cigars last for about 50 minutes, which is reasonable. Flavour is smooth and the strength is really mild, to the point of being inhalable. Great construction and mostly even burn. My only complaint about these cigars is that the ash does not hold for as long as I would like it to, thus requiring to constantly keep an eye on making sure that the ash does not fall onto the clothing. If not for this ash concern, I would've given these cigars a solid 5-star rating. These cigars a a great value if you can get them at $5-per-stick. 4 5 1

Rothchilde As I am getting older and smoke more selective , I found old names in new countries . Monte # 2 habano ,for my money it's my top 5 cigars ever, now quality controls is not there ,prices are out of reach/want to pay prices . I have tried a couple docen of this white series and boy am I surprised . Very good , but now Havana very good ,let put that now so we don't get confused or think I am confused . Excellent burn , draw , color , feel, only one out of 24-25 that i have smoked was a ditch cigars, I will take those chances any day with a handmade alive product. I have experienced , 50 minutes , to 75 minutes , but an hour it's about my perfect time . I drink a Cubano doble , a bottle of seltzer very cold , Macallan or Hibiki after a solid meal in the dusk . I ordered on Sat Two day UPS order should of shipped Sat but didn’t ship till Monday ?No excuse for that I ran a shipping dept we shipped 56 million in products a year 2400 some days more any priority orders were batched and printed 3 times a day so orders that were 1 or 2 day shipped the day they were ordered !I called the lady said Sat didn’t count and Sunday didn’t count Monday order went out so Monday didn’t count I received my order Wednesday which most folks would say that’s 5 days!paid extra for 2 day this is the second time order should have been free shipping both times since I bought the specials and stuff took 5to 7day to arrive !get your stuff together 3 5 1

Rothchilde This was my first time ordering online from JR. I bought a ten pack of these on a bonus buy and they came a day earlier than USPS and JR promised which was a nice surprise! I was having an issue with my account and customer service helped me out right away and helped me get an additional coupon! Couldn’t wait to crack the box open when it came and all 20 sticks (three different types) were in good condition! I didn’t let the first one I tried of these Rothchildes acclimate long enough before lighting so there was minor canoeing on the front end but with a few touch ups with my torch, by the midpoint it burned evenly and continued all the way to the nub! Long ash, great aroma. Nice smooth creamy smoke with hints of coffee, earth and spice on the draw with a sweet tobacco finish. Will definitely let the next one acclimate more, I just couldn’t wait to give it a try! 4 5 1

Rothchilde Recently bought two boxes of these. Although I do like Monte cristos, very good cigar. I find these to be rather a very poorly constructed. The cigar has a very weak draw you cannot get a puff of smoke out of it unless you take four or five draws and it runs when you do. The outer wrapper is completely fallen off and you have to continuously light it to keep it going I find these to be absolutely a horrible waste of money. And if I had a choice to buy these or a box of white owls I'd probably take the White House. Now this does not conclude my decision on these because I've had them in the past and they were better I don't know what happened but the quality of cigars has gone down so badly so poorly recently that I can't compare these two say Romeo's Romeo's have just fallen off the map in quality and now my most prized possession Monte cristo's have done the same I am sorely disappointed and unless they change and convince me somehow that they have made a better box of cigars I won't purchase anymore. In fact if I could post pictures of my cigars but that would be great so that people wouldn't just take my word for it and see how they burn. I've taken pictures from beginning till about as far as I can get with him if I could post pictures of the cigars while they were completely disintegrating then I think you would fully understand how I feel about them. 2 5 1
