I just wish instead of the nubs the would put two more of the same type cains, it would make it an unbeatable sampler. Oliva Mixed Collection #3 I ordered this sampler based on the great reviews. So my first cigar was the orange band Daytona, which I must be honest I was very disappointed with. I've been a cigar smoker on and off for over 50 yrs and I know cigars. First tottering Olivia's. The good points is the flavor was there. When first lit until a few minutes later, a little harsh on the back of the throat, which was okay. The flavor of a great cigar was there. That's about it for the pro's. Now the con's...The ash burned very uneven. The cigar would not hold the ash tip. The outer leaf wrapper did not burn at the same rate as the filler. So the cigar ash, burned, recessed, into the cigar. The cigar drew okay, but I had to keep on constantly puffing to keep it going. Even with that effort the cigar snuffed out 3 times, and 3 times I had to relight it. When the ash fell off I could actually see a core hole down the middle of the cigar...I am only rating this ONE single orange band Daytona cigar now, not the entire sampler. I'm hoping the rest of the cigars are way better than thus one. Look, over the years as a smoker you find out through experiences that the best cigars are NOT Cuban, but Dominican Republic, Honduras, Canary Islands etc ARE. You also learn the best type of cigar is made of all tobacco, long leaf filler, not chop and a Connecticut wrapped cigar finishes off nicely. 1 5 1

Oliva Mixed Collection #3 I find that most cigars I smoke (and I'm constantly trying new ones) get kind of bad once you're near the end. They get hotter and the taste nosedives quickly. The Oliva nubs included hear do NOT do that. They're actually really nice. The only other nubby little cigar that I like were some torpedoes that tasted so bad smoking--but were great for just chewing. These NUBS are great. Mild. The nubs also had a good draw, something you worry about with super long/short cigars. The Cain Daytonas were another shorter, yet mild cigar. The regular/longer Olivas had a slightly heavier flavor, but still mild and mellow. This is a great sampler with not a single bummer. 5 5 1

Oliva Mixed Collection #3 Let me start off with the fact that this is an extremely good value, and JR had them shipped to my door fast, and in excellent condition. . All of these cigars were exceptional, but the Oliva G. The Oliva G had very tight draw. Considering they are box pressed I do expect a somewhat tight draw. These however were beyond tight. . In terms of flavor it is all masked by the copious amounts of tar the Serie G produced. Even cleansing my palate with a stiff drink of bourbon 🥃 didn’t smooth this out, and I found I didn’t want to waste my good bourbon. . The burn was uneven, and required frequent touch ups. . All in all I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this bundle again even with the 2 that aren’t to my liking. 5 5 1
