I think this is a fine cigar. Not as good as the previous Reserve but somewhere between the standard Casa Blanca with the same Connecticut wrapper as the older reserve. Maybe it was the older packaging that caught my eye as the new one is pretty bland. lol

A mild cigar that won't break your wallet. Pretty well made and a good deal overall. Just don't expect a flavor bomb. It's good and mild but not a crazy overload of tastes.

The corona smoked beautifully. Easy to touch-up if needed. Nice creamy smoke with a little pepper.

The stick bring a big punch and is a great addition to any humidor the wrapper is oily but doesn’t leave a bad taste

First time I tried them. The moderate flavor was very good but I found them somewhat loosely rolled resulting in a quick burn.

This cigar is very mild but sometimes that’s not a bad thing. They hold together and make a good amount of smoke, just not overpoweringly strong smoke. They’re a fairly fast smoke but since I purchased the Coronas I’d think that it could be attributed to the small ring size rather than any fault in the construction. Overall a great cigar as I expected of a Dominican Republic Casa Blanca.

These are definitely a mild cigar. The flavors are good but not powerful. The draw is good. They’re a deal for a budget cigar of mild is what you’re looking for. Overall I like the cigar

These Casa Blancas are a good mellow smoke. I call them a “morning smoke” because they’re light. They’re great when a guy wants something mild. They’re well constructed, have just enough resistance to the draw, and they burn nice and even. No mess because the construction is good. These cigars are very consistent throughout the whole box. Ronnie had good taste in cigars.

These coronas are very different from Casa Blanca's standard blend which, to my tastes, are bland and flavorless. The construction is good and the draw, flavor and aroma are very nice. I think these are on par with brands like Trinidad y Cia... a good, solid, everyday smoke. If you find them discounted, I believe they are a good deal but at standard prices, I think there may be many better options.

I love an inexpensive cigar that smokes well above its price range, and these fill that desire quite well. Now, I bought these from JR some time ago and forgot about them in an obscure place in one of my larger humidors.I found them recently and have been enjoying them! Delicious!

Casa Blanca Reserve

CBREC
The new Casa Blanca Reserve Corona cigar is a long-awaited medium bodied line extension to our famous original blend. To bump the strength up a notch, the original Connecticut wrapper has been replaced with a heartier reddish-brown Ecuadorian leaf. The Reserve blend still uses the same Mexican binder and aged long fillers from the Dominican Republic. This heartier Casa Blanca is brimming with flavors of cocoa, cedar, roasted nuts, and hints of spicy and peppery zest not found on its mellower cousin. Now, seasoned aficionados that like a fuller, richer smoke, can enjoy a bolder premium cigar from Casa Blanca.
