De Luxe Maduro The flavor is simply tobacco. It is not a very nuanced cigar. The draw was good, but the construction was inconsistent. Ash fell from the cigar after a quarter inch or so. I would not buy them again, but would not turn them down as a gift. 3 5 1

De Luxe Maduro Picked thee up at a JR auction. The price was motivation to buy, after I received these was glad I purchased them. A smooth, easy draw with a flat cut of the cap. Hints of chocolate and spice along with a slight varying taste of creme through the first 2/3 of this cigar. The last 1/3 got much hotter, became mostly just got pepper. I decided to give it a full tryout to determine what the flavors and characteristics were. This is a everyday cigar. The price bought at auction, makes it an easy decision. The retail pricing would still be okay but that would remove it from that status. Catch them on sale or at auction and no just get a great deal, but a very good cigar. Cheers 4 5 1

De Luxe Maduro To start, this boxed aj Fernandez version is a flavor bomb. Next, consider that the cigars have each one been perfectly constructed, consistent, and better than many super premiums. I have had both wrappers in three sizes and I will keep buying. 5 5 1

De Luxe Maduro I bought a 5 pack when they went on sale for 50% and let them sit in the humidor for 3 weeks. The first 1/3 is a little bitter, but if your patient, the flavor settles in and the dark chocolate/ coffee flavors really come to the front. I've smoked 2/5 and both were consistent all the way to the nub. 5 5 1

De Luxe Maduro I got these 1/2 price. The first one seemed strong at first but after getting in about an inch it smoothed out then was a strong mellowness and I smoked it to where I almost needed a roach clip, if you will. lol I've had three now and all burn perfectly, nice an even, and they're pretty consistent on the flavor and draw, which was great. I'll buy more, oh I had bought two five packs so am glad of that.. 5 5 1
