Maul Most cigars even expensive cigars do not exhibit their true flavors until they have burned down at least half an inch this cigar developed rich coffee cocoa and slightly sweet cream with a touch of spice on the 3rd draw and from there on it only got better. I smoked this baby till the ashes fell off behind my teeth. My only complaint which is not unusual with oily maduro wrappers is after the half way point the wrapper tends to not burn as well on one side and it needed to be burnt off about three times but there was no adverse effect on flavor and had no effect on the score I gave it. If it was 6 to 8 dollars a stick it would not be unreasonable so at less than 4 bucks a stick it a real bargain. 5 5 1
Maul My favorite so far from a recent sampler purchase. Good strength/flavor/aroma right from the first puff. Draw is great. No problems with construction although the burn line is a bit wobbly. The two I received were good but I can't really testify on consistency. 4 5 1

Maul I thought this cigar was supposed to be powerful but is was as mild as a Macanudo. New gimmick cigars may appeal to yuppies and others but I doubt most of the new brands of cigars will survive when a new fad arrives. Stick to the classics. 2 5 1

Maul If you like bold and strong. This stick is it. It's akin to an Onyx Reserve. A bit less polished but a damn good cigar. The construction was not premium but it does make up for it in strength ease of draw and output. I got a lot of chocolate or mocha on the pre light draw and through the first 3rd and then the bold mocha and peppery flavors came on. Definitely would buy these again. Nothing short of pleased on this. I have bought my share of 'bold' cigars and this is one that finally gave me that. This is a pick me up cigar and I doubt I would ever smoke one before bed. But on a golf course or fishing and camping... Yeah this one does it. 4 5 1

Maul This is a very full bodied cigar that has a peppery finish. I got this in a sampler probably a year or so ago. I smoked this about a month ago and I can say wow to the flavor and length of smoke but it is a Churchill so that says it by itself. I would recommend this cigar except it is s little pricey and I would probably not have bought it if it was not in a reduced prices sampler pack from JR. If you can stand the price you won't be disappointed. 4 5 1

The construction was very good and firm no cracking at all through the smoke. The draw seemed a bit tight made for a little more work. Maul After reading the previous reviews I figured I would give these a shot. I didn't find them to be strong at all. I was unable to taste any hint of spice. To me it was a very underwhelming smoke. If you want a spicy cigar look for the Punisher by Cu-Avana. It is a far better cigar. 3 5 1
Maul After enjoying these early on I set out to buy a box. Not good. Brought these a month ago and still can't get them to burn evenly. And the draw is hard. Starting to think when these companies first make cigars for JR they put everything into to them but once they began selling the quality goes down. The Black Abyss did the same thing. 2 5 1

Maul Most Boneshaker Mauls that I have had have been pretty consistent with its performance. A strong bodied smoke that will last about an hour and fifteen minutes. The draw starts tight but will open up more once heat moves through it. Overall good stick. 4 5 1

Maul I think this is a decent smoke, with notes of dark chocolate, spice, and earth, I tend to get bored of this smoke after the second third though when a heavy chemical flavor begins to set in. A decent stick to offer to the buddies whom are visiting however. Pretty good draw and even burn to it as well. 3 5 1

Maul To start, the cigar appeared very well put together with an oily Maduro wrapper leaf. After the initial burn in, the cigar has a chocolaty and smooth draw. It burned very consistent until last quarter. An epic smoke if you enjoy smooth full bodied cigars like I do. Worthy of your top shelf. 5 5 1
Maul A very decent smoke. I am relatively new to cigar smoking so take what I say with a grain of salt. But it definitely has a robust boldness to it that reminds me of the bitterness and strength of espresso coffee. I would recommend this cigar to anyone looking for a bold smoke. Maul I had nerve damage in 2011, and while it seems to a little bit harsh for a Nicaraguan cigar, I can actually taste it! The only minor annoyance is that I lose my "big ash" about halfway through the park, and a "big ash" is a "happy ash"! 4 5 1

Maul my first and only try was after they had set in my humidor for about one week, so the jury is still out as the first try was not really that good or fair to be saying as to how it tasted. Every one I’ve cut is a total waste of money and I have 5 of the morning star bone shakers coming today I know It’s not JRs fault but WoW they just take up space in my humidor I hope I have better luck today. I tried a 48 hour dry box the perfect draw don’t even help it’s like the tobacco is gooey but the dry box didn’t do anything but make the wrapper dry and crack weird weird weird I wish I had more money because I wouldn’t buy stuff like this looking to save money 1 5 1
